Makes it hard for a closed training session/intra club praccy match when you can see straight through to the ground :?

They just have to put up a few 'Please Avert Your Eyes' signs on the outside of the contruction area.

Clubs may lose AFL funding

Quote:
Carlton was told its budget shortfall was close to $5 million, while North's deficit was an estimated $2.8 million. All those figures have been privately disputed by the clubs who claim they would lower their costs rather than blow their budgets.

The Blues were threatened with the withdrawal of a further $1.2 million to the Princes Park rebuilding unless the club close the deficit and detail its funding plans.

Why do we have a $5 million short fall? :?

I'm sure this little development will get the appropriate response(es) on this forum later this morning.

If you have a look at all the versions of the redevelopment over the last couple of years, the cost has gone up from about $10M to the latest I could find which is about $18M.

It seems that the half is from the AFL council and others and half from Carlton.

Would be interesting to know how much of the roughly $9M is going to be added debt for the club?

Carlton Family Day Attendance: 10,000
Richmond Family Day Attendance: 9,000

Carlton re-development short fall: $5M
Richmond re-development short fall: $6M

I see a trend

Raises an interesting point.

If you knew Carlton was going to finish exactly 1 place above Richmond, would you prefer to finish 8th or anywhere from 7th to 2nd?

Thanks for the pics.

Where's your contribution to the training report?
