I didn't get to listen to this so can't summarise but these links were just sent to me.

New recruits settling in well.

Expecting to do better in 2009. Hoping for finals if all goes well.

Judd having an uninterrupted pre-season a real boost.

206 doing well in rehab - no pressure on him to deliver immediately.

Yarran a quiet kid, but exciting on the track.

Great buzz about the place.

And that's without even listening to it

Yeah Ratten said that Warnock was mainly in the rehab group because he had to donate Murphy a kidney, and the who "foot stress fracture" story is just a cover ................

I just got to listen to this and am very impressed with Ratten and his disclosure.

Interested in how positive Ratten was on Hartlett and a few others.

Worth a listen.

I know it wasn't SEN, but were there any calls afterwards complaining about the media's "fascination" with Carlton? ;)

Interested in his thoughts on Garlett. Obviously sees him as a chance to get in the 22. Seemed to be a big focus from the hosts on our young guys and guys on the fringe/coming back from injury. Better than the usual Judd/Fev/Kreuz dominated stuff we hear from journos all the time.

agreed it is a good listen

the discussion on Andrew Walker was very interesting
- Ratts thrilled he has been fully involved in training (as opposed to last yr) because he thought Andrews understanding of the game plan has improved signiificantly
- thought that Andrew after 6 yrs needed to be upskilled in a few areas of the game - and time spend in this area
- because Judd and Walker are athletically similar they are spending a lot of time together and Chris is taking Andrew under his wing
- thought Andrew would be a different play this year, and Ratts happy to have him because of his explosiveness and also flexibility to play different roles

Have never been this excited, preseason, about a player taking the comp by storm such as i have an incling 1AW '09 might well do. Not even judd last year.

Its january and already havin sweet dreams about walks runnng into the 50 and tearing em a new arsehole with his polished footskills. Then me trying to spot random, guilty-looking carlton supporters in the crowd that suggested 1aw as trade bait. Shame on you!
