I thought injury news was supposed to go in the Training section.

I remember hearing something about Warnock having foot problems on the Dockerland boards during the trade talk, so I wouldn't be surprised if this is what they were talking abut (ala prone to hoot hotspots like Cricketers are)

Hope he pulls through quickly

Let's hope it is a one off, rather than something he is prone to.

Because if he is susceptible to stress fractures of the foot when he is this skinny, it will not get any better with an extra 10kg on his frame.

Bad news for all concerned, apart from Hampson I suppose.

Lets hope our injuries occur at this time of year so we get a clear run when it counts

When Warnock is lying on his back with his sore foot in the air I calculate his height to be 106cm

He can go off and WORK HARD on his upper body strength/put on some muscle while he's on his butt .......... I would rather he was out until after the mid season break, but fully fit, than to bring him back in after say rd 3 with slight question marks. Get the boy right and get him on a training routine to hopefully put an end to these injury issues !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this the same thing Matty Allan had? Stress fractures are no good, and my guess it is doesn't help when you're a giant.

Huge blow

Guess it's now Hammer Time for real !

Yes, Matt Allan the same problem a couple times over.

Can anyone shed light on the number of stress fractures Carlton has had since taking on Nike sponsorhip and then compare it with other clubs???

Rubbish apparel.

nike running shoes used to be a bit dodgy, but they're as good as any now. No problems there, I'd imagine.

Well if I read between the lines, it means that people you define as being motivated by money alone, will be rewarded with injury.

Sub-Editor is a prize moron how do you get months from 8 weeks.

Probably divided 8 weeks by 4 and got 2.
Two being plural as distinct from one, which is singular, equals 'months'.
Or, divided 56 by 29.5 and got 1.898, which, being more than 1, is referred to as being plural. also, therefore, 1.898 'months'.
And yes, it's a slow week.

I think it may take a little longer than that

My guess is ..... ooohhh ....... about 2.06 months :donk:

I think what he's trying to say is that if he went to the bombers, it would've been for pride in the jumper (and the chance to be coached under Alan Richardson, in which case all chance of injury disappears due to the awesomeness of his development program)
