Or you can piss the AFL off no end and just keep doing what the ABC do and make no reference to sponsor's names - refer to it as Docklands.

Gotta agree... I call it "The Dome", and pretty much everyone I know calls it "The Dome".

Calling it "The Dome" was in deference to our home game sponsor "Optus" when we played our designated home games at "TelstraDome" - this was a deal that Collo worked out whilst he was still our President and CEO of "TelstraDome".

Just because you haven't heard it doesn't mean it hasn't been referred to as Telstra Dome.

The corporates I hang out with, call it Telstra Dome. 8)

Who do you chill out with Melvin? :-D

i'll tell you what's already starting to happen, people are deliberately calling it 'etihad' just to take the piss. :)

and if they jump on as our sponsor as well, i know what the majority of carlton fans will be calling it then.

and why are we debating this anyway???

Unless we all dress in camel hair shirts, beat our selves over the head with a stone, eat ash and saw dust and flagelate ourselves with a cat o'nine tails Deloris will never be happy.

Possibly explains my whining in the training thread about the lack of goods on the "on-line shop" so close to Chrissy....when there's all that Blues stuff I have to buy for the kids (and myself  )....

new sponsor eh...It's not the "US Bailout" brand is it?

Does this mean Optus gone/significantly reduced?
So it's Hyundai and Aanother as joint majors.
