Fev is still on leave from the club, as long as he comes back and passes the fitness tests what's the problem?

I took more notice to the apparent 'dance off' article between Stevo, Murph and Andew Lovett in which Stevo won.

Just because the Herald Sun follows Fev around reporting it every time he picks at his bum it doesn't make him any bigger a bogan or tool than 90% of people I've met in my life.

FFS, some people need to get a grip.

The difference is that he is a professional athlete who is the face of this great club and is paid a mint. He also has a history of this behaviour.

Right or wrong he should not be putting himself in that position.

How about drinking heavily in public places! Not a good look with his history. How can you justify it? What is more important the club or the individual? Would Judd be doing this?

This is the reason I did not want him to sign a 3 year deal worth lots of money.

Fev is an accident waiting to happen.

At the start of the season he was on the verge of being sacked until he said he was off the drink and will be a model of behaviour. Why do you think he wouldn't allow a behavioural clause in his contract.

Plays well for a few months and gets a new well paid contract.

He needs to be fitter than ever next season as he will need to play further up the ground for us to have multiple forward options.

Has topped our goal kicking for six consecutive years. Much much more than playing well for just a couple of months.

It has been well documented and discussed that our Fev is a bit of a loose cannon. We all know it. That is our Fev. The club is fully aware of what and who he is and will always be in damage control. Fev's problem is that if he was playing in a local league he would be the likable rogue and that would be the end of it. Unfortunately he is in the AFL fishbowl and a big fish in that bowl always good for a headline whether he intends for that to be the case or not. Bit a yawn really, no novelty at all - just headline hungry journos with nothing better to do in the off season.

Compared to top flight athletes the world over Fev having a few drinks in the off-season is pretty ho-hum.

This boring stuff gets reported because people lap it up and get their knickers in a twist about it. The Herald Sun presents overheard conversations and hearsay as a "story" and it gets lapped up and tut-tutted about like he's done soemthing illegal.

Fev might be a fool, but how foolish are the people that the tabloid press have sucked in?

Give him a break his on his break and he ain't gonna change if his going out and having a drink. He won't stop at one drink,would you? as long as he can keep a cool head while he does it. I expect him to be professional when his pre season begins if his really care about football and success or it's going too look like it's just the money/job he cares about. He ain't done nothing wrong.

Confidence,he probably feels more comfortable around people after drinking like most people.He might get paid a lot and have a good job,success but he still might deep down feel a bit nervous in public and may think he is boring straight.
