We're all happy with the Juddman as our leader, but who should be Vice Captain in 2009?

You would obviously know my answer :-D but would be equally happy with Simmo.

Stevo should not be considered IMHO.

great question Buzz!

I reckon we'll go with Stevo for one or two more seasons before we have a changeover to either Murph or Gibbs. I just think the Club would find it pretty hard to tap a senior player on the shoulder and tell him he's out of the job after being overlooked so many times for captaincy as well. From the Club's perspective, I just doubt they would see any need to make a change to the VC. I guess we'll see.

Stevo for another year or two before he steps down. Leadership group consisting of Simmo, Carrots, Wiggins and Maybe Scotland.

Shouldn't consider Murph or Gibbs........yet.

Stevens...even though I love Simmo...and he was an outstanding Captn.
Don't forget Steven stepped up when he had to this year also
The list is pretty much the leadership group

Murphy and Gibbs are too young, and they dont been thr pressure yet. Simmo is an option, but I hponestly dont have him in our best 22 so .............. (waits for the backlash). Wiggins .............. lol. So I would have to go with Stevens for at least another year, before passing it onto Murphy, or possibly Walker.

so how is he an option...

this is your opinion, and if in your opinion he is an option, but is not in your best 22, then Setanta is also an option.

Simo/Stevo for co-vice captains

I tend to agree, but I voted AWWWWWWW as I don't see any reason to expect a change will be made.

those who chose Stevens, do you honestly see him as a leader let alone the second best at the club? He is liable to come back to preseason with a few extra chins as he does every other year. Is this the type of leadership we want?

Anyone but for me but if I had to choose, Bryce Gibbs as the next captain of our club should be VC.

Starting 18 or in the 22, there's really no difference.

Rotations are the key to intensity.

Simmo is a fantastic leader. He was a bit off the boil in the first half of 08, but came back very well in the second half.

There's good reason why he's favoured to represent Australia in the IR non stop running game. He's a gut busting runner with smarts.
