Yes I remember it well. :-D Still very, very unsure then and suffered through many unbearable days of listening to and reading how another club was actually the front runner (ready to bury that little pr*ck of a radio personality).

We'll never get him.

Richmond are in the box seat.

"However West Coast chief executive Trevor Nisbett said the Eagles would not be satisfied with anything less than Carlton's No.1 pick at next month's national draft."

Bastard. I really wanted us to keep that No.1 pick.

True, but that Kreuzer was a steal at 46. Reckon we might have something there.

At the time of that news, I could only think I wouldn't believe it until the deal was done, and I'd seen Judd running around in our colours in an official game.

The 2008 season is finished, and I still can't believe it!

I beg to differ. I think the darkest period of the club ended when:

1. Smorgon was voted out and Pratt was conscripted in.
2. Pagan was sacked and Ratten was installed as caretaker coach.

Both of these events stick in my mind as being more defining.

Still I am happy with the Judd coup. I was worried losing JK, Picks 3 and 20, but so far we are in front. :-D

We'll end up giving up pick 1 for him. Maybe Fev too...

The United Nations just called - they've just declared 2 October "International Day of the Judd"...

What's an appropriate way to celebrate peoples?

Nice of you to think of me, but I think we should keep to the original topic, CK.
