brad fisher!!!!!!!!!!!! still CANT KICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know he had a terrible season kicking for goal but word is he was carrying an injury. Look back to 2007 and he was the third best set shot in the league and ended up with something ridiculous like 42.7 or something to that effect. I'm prepared to see how he goes next year before I sink the boot in.

39 goals 15 isnt quite 42.7 but its still an impressive rate:

Looking through the 2008 playing list in the Blueseum you see that 25.22 is what Fish achieved this year, so scoring shots down by 7 but 14 less goals:

Compare to Betts who kicked 25 goals 10 in 2008 at a very good conversion rate.

From the Blueseum

LOL, blueseum always there when you want him!! I was referring to his set shots accuracy which I believe was right up there with the best in the AFL. He didn't kick 39 goals from set shots, there were plenty of snaps so obviously I'm a little off the mark there.;-) But he was ultra efficient in front of goal.

Just checking the stats, he had kicked 28.7 from set shots in the AFL at the end of round 21 last year. The only player with 20 goals or more with a better set shot rate was Cameron Ling who had 14 from 14 (100%). That's a damn impressive stat for someone who supposedly can't kick and certainly suggests there was some problem.

hellas blue,
did he have a broken leg?dont think he was carrying an injury all year.

The symptoms point to osteitis pubis, unable to kick as far and if you take note, his usual springy leap was non-existant, another symptom of osteitis. osteitis is one injury that players can still play with as well. I am just guessing here though. I just find it hard to believe he'd become so terrible over the space of 6 months.

hope he was carrying an injury because if he was not what do you do?

If he wasn't carrying an injury mate, I agree 100%, the jury is out on him and he'd want to rectify his kicking next year.

Stats don't count the ones that didn't make the distance or went OOB you could easliy add 10-15 of them to fish

I reckon you're clutching at straws personally. Any proof?

Carrots by a mile. Played like 13 seasons and still hasn't got a NRS nomination!
