For anyone who didn't go to the medal count tonight, here's my injury update... purely based on what i saw with my own eyes

Judd, Stevo, 1AW and Jamo all had one arm in a sling (walker surgery AGAIN?)
hartlett was on crutches

and in other news, scotty wasnt there as his partner was about to give birth and setanta wasn't there as he is having his injury treated - overseas i assume

i think we all knew judd would win the B & F, but i was really cheering for murphy! oh well, like he said, coming second to the juddster is an honour in itself :-D

no other goss to report on there, was a great night and congratulations to judd murph and fev

Yep. Snuck over the line by about 12 inches I believe.

I don't think anyone can dispute the season Judd had.

Everyone rated him at the Eagles but it was until we saw him in our jumper that i realised how much work he actually puts in both inside and outside the contest. His ability to win the contested football at ease, ability to tackle any player down to the ground regardless of size and the ability to run himself into the ground week after week is something that any player and in particular young midfielder should aspire too.

Well done Juddy and also a superb effort by Murph and Fev on a top 3 position, that isn't anything to be sneezed at and also shows the quality season that both individuals had in 2008.

DITTO !!

Good effort from Stevo too. 1st year back after a near career ending injury, lack of full pre-season, terrorised through out the year by some psycho. 6th is pretty good. Good pick up scottopee. 8)

and his excuse next year is........................................... :garthp:

What. I have a crystal ball. I'll leave that to you.

Excuse - Reason ?? Spade - Shovel. Whatever.

Juddy was a lock to win from the day he signed...

I reckon he'll win the next two as well.

He's the best player we have by a country mile.

I spoke to Walker about his arm in a sling and he said it will be only for 2 or 3 weeks

In the paper today it said it was purely for a cleanup, so nothing to worry about there. Although, I'm no doctor, but with the end of season trip not far away, would he be able to fly with it?

Twiggles looked alright too :-D

Well done to Juddy & in particular Murphy and Fev. I thought that Waitey might have been closer but anyhow...

I guess with these results it just shows how important and how highly regarded Walker is at our club...

73 votes in 7 games is a pretty damn good result...

Well done Walks... Get the body right for a full pre-season and then we will see what your really made of

.
All players were very generous with their time for the fans last night. Most stayed on and were patient with all. Especially Fev.

Interesting.............. Stevens left the minute voting was finished. Some suggestion he was not happy.

What impresses me most is his ability to stand up in the tackle and dish off, even when gang tackled.

I'm having one of those days where I can't find the link to a particular story, but there was a liner from last night's speech from Ratts to the players about there being hell to pay if they erocked up to pre season training out of shape.

It was good to read that and interesting to see if anyone rocks up in poor nick [ 8) ]
