The problem is that Fev was running around with his dildo hanging out at daytime and in a public space - not inside a night club.

There are actually people who get offended looking at a lifelike oversized dildo hanging out of his pants and even more who dont want their kids looking at it.

We should ask Fev if he showed the dildo to his two daughters...... So, no I dont think this is funny and those of us who have children will hopefully understand what I mean.

PS: Sadly it seems more and more common that people dont give a damn if they offend other people or are insensitive to kids. I always get very angry when people scream the most profane language right next to kids at the football. Yes - call me old fashioned.

with you 100% on this.

So don't take your kids to the football.

Probably best to home school them as well.

You have got to be kidding.
My kids love going to the football and I would expect that the people around us watch what they say. When I go to the footy with adults I do the same.

I would expect parents to teach their kids that they're going to hear inappropriate language at the footy, and it doesn't mean they can do it.

I love how everyone has to change their behaviour so parents don't have to explain what goes on in the real world to their offspring.

..lookit, there's nothing illegal with what Fev did, and when inside the bars it's more funny than anything.. ..i reckon most folks aren't too pleased with it all being displayed during the go-betweens, cos it was the arvo, and that's poor taste.. ..not hugely insulting mind you.. ..if he had swapped the pink nightie for a gestapo outfit then maybe ppl would really have cause to have their knickers in a twist... ..waving a huge dildo about in public is more in lines of poor taste, rather than actually offensive.. ..either way it's not all that smart to keep it hanging out when travelling from bar to bar.. ..then again, fev ain't the team's brainiac either..

Exactly!

As a parent it's MY responsibility to teach my child right from wrong. It would be lovely to live in a world where everybody behaved impecably at all times, but that's just not realistic.

I don't take my kid to the football to teach her good manners. That's my job at home.

..all well and good Mandy, and i agree with you on that part.. ..you know what yer in for at the footy.. ..it's a bit diff when yer walkin' thru fed square.. ..i don't think what fev did was heinous, just woulda been a bit smarter to save it for inside the bar, vs all the time that day on the binge..

The pics taken of him with the dildo were outside St Kilda's Barkly Hotel early yesterday according to the papers and I heard he also showed it at Fed square.

Way too simplistic to say the footy is real world, or walking along the street with 12 inch dildo's is the real world. When we are in the public space we should have an obligation to act with some respect for others and the situation we are in.

Fev wasn't a huge deal and it is being blown out of proportion, but we shouldn't say it is acceptable.

I'd hazard a guess most kids would piss themselves laughing if they had seen Fevola.

Fev is a flower, but he's OUR flower. Every club has em. No damage done, move on. :-D

You've convinced me. It's OK then. In fact, he's a flower legend. A real role model and something I aspire to. I wan't my three boys to behave just like him.

DEAD SET LEGEND!!!

I am blown away by the hysteria that this thing has caused!!

Imagine the uproar if he had actually done something wrong and illegal!

People take things way to seriously sometimes!!

He is a real exhibitionist isn't he. The only thing he should have done differently is perhaps removed the offending appendage while waiting to get on the bus at Fed Square and then put it back on again once on the bus.
