Maybe this will be enough incentive for Fev to kick his ton this year.

Quoted in todays HeraldSun,

Quote:
"With Carlton coach Brett Ratten forecasting increased forward options and even Fevola playing different roles next year, this might be his best chance at kicking the ton."

What other roles could you give Fev ??

During the Kangas game someone said (either during the call or here) that since it's all over for the club now (finals-wise) it's all about him now ..

Against the Blions he averages 2.5 goals
Against the Dawks he averages 4 goals
I couldn't get his Gabba or Bowl averages
This year he has averaged 4.5

Unfortunately he will only get 6-9 over the next two rounds so no ton for Fevvie .. but there's no reason why he can't do it next year

I think anything but.

Rather than it all being about Fev, it's all about next year, and seeing if some of the younger players can make an impression in the last 2 matches.

IIRC fev gave choad an absolute bath in 2006, kicking 8 i think. brisbane seem to have the wood on him. but he loves the big stage, and round 22 with both he and buddy likely to notch the ton, there is not a hope in hell that he'll let buddy have all the limelight.

i reckon he'll do it.

after this though, it simply must be the biggest focus of the off season to reinvent our forward line. and to add to that, for midfielders who are generally very good with their vision, to see more than just fev. for they are just as much to blame as fev himself. if he is leading and has 2 blokes around him, allow him to be the decoy. find the other man for goodness sake

If Fev didn't have duds playing in the forward line - such as Russell- who has kicked 2 goals 14 behinds or whatever- then the pressure would be removed.

Once Kreuzer settles in - and we need one other primary forward target- then I think the pressure on Fev is removed. 3 primary targets - try and control that.... In the first Port victory Fev only kicked 3 or whatever, Kreuzer 2 or 3 and someone else got 2 or 3...that is the way we are heading for some matches.

I think the third primary option will have to be a fast player...someone like a Walker. It is definitely not Russell or Wiggins.

Hope Fev kicks a bag this weekend. It helps to erase some of the pain of the last 5 years.

I'd love to see him get it because we have flower up our game plan by looking for him every time we go inside 50. Hopefully this will change next year so this season may be his only chance to get the 100.

May we should aim for Fish... so we can kick 100 points.

From the article's I have read over the years, I didn't think Fev knew where his dad was after he left.

Good to read they are back on good terms from reading that line.
