CON: I doubt we'll ever get near 2 second round picks for thornton again.
Our complete lack of ability to stop naybody taller than 6ft. We need a KPP in this draft.

PRO Wont have to scream my head off at Saddington ever again (my scapegoat of the week)

I think what stood out most for me was how desperate we are for a strong, tough and hard working inside midfielder like a Sammy Mitchell, Jobe Watson and Simon Black type of player who are brilliant with there hands.

Synbad was right when he mentioned JR and Wiggo playing as defensive forwards.

How handy would have the big irish lad been on Sunday. We needed his body to take Halle.

5. Fisher is a luxury 4th forward we cannot carry. He has next to nothing ground level skills and is pretty much a one trick pony

Fisher is a dud.

There was a pass to a Fisher lead in the 3rd quarter that appeared to be hitting him on the chest. Seemed like he managed to make it drop metres short, and his attempt to take the half volley was awful, my nanna would have got down lower. He moves like an old woman.

What position does your nana play NBH and can she kick from outside 50?

She's a link-up player....would be perfect for our clearances from the backline, and provides a great target for kick outs from behinds

Pro - Channel Seven pulled the game off in NSW so I didn't have to sit through the loss live

We are at round 20 and we were still a chance of making the finals and no tank talk in sight

Con- We lost to North _ and I hate flower North

We can't rely on him due to his history of injuries ruining his output.

We need to inject some mongrel into this side. We have to many passengers and no one leading the way in that department.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Cons:
something's happened to murphy's hair, i dont love it
Judd going through the wars, while half the team looked on
Sulking when losing the ball... stevens' dropped mark was the worst i saw... it is ridiculous that the young kids are leading by example and giving chase when they stuff up, but the likes of stevo and scotty thump the turf and watch the play from the ground
NM defence rallied before our forwards had even worked out what went wrong - we definitely missed eddie crumbing the dropped marks
boomer ran rings around us and at one stage it seemed players were too scared to even go near him

Pros:
Kreuzer's never-ending second efforts and his beautiful kick for goal
Cloke re-enforcing my view of his potential as a CHF (he can kick straighter than fish)
Fev catchin up to buddy for the coleman
saddo's finished, must persist with our young kids
It was only our 11th loss for the season... its been a great year and the boys have played as a team much better than i expected

all in all its been a great year, and despite the frustration of sunday's game, at least now we know those kind of thrashings won't be seen regularly (if ever again) in the next few years!

The worst play of the game was Kade Simpson running in to goal in the 3rd quarter and having to stop and move to his left side because he has no right foot. He got caught and caused a turnover by memory. In this day and age, its unforigveable for a PROFESSIONAL player to have 0 confidence in their non preferred foot. He should be seriously used as trade bait...as should Fisher, Russell and Stevens.

I've seen Simmo go ok on his right foot. Yeah he mostly goes left but when needed he'll go right.

Simmo is one of a few line breakers in our side and is one of the first picked in my best team.

Not good enough in that aspect but come on, 100 worse plays for sure. Every missed pass, every drop in enthusiasm / intensity is far worse when you consider the lift and effort Simpson adds to the team. Very poor call IMHO.

In that 1st 10 mins of Q3 we had a string of inside 50 clangers. Don't think any one in particular needed to be singled out.
