Saturday night @ the Gabba, 7.10pm.

Who will the MC's scapegoats be?

Brissy will be a tough assignment and we'll need to have strength of mind to recover from the R20 embarrassment.

Finals out of the question now it would seem. Time to have a look at a few on the fringes and plan for next year.

Ins - Austin, Hadley, blackwell, houlihan, Bower
Outs - saddington, judd (rested - 2 head hits), 3 other randoms

Lions have won their past six or seven games at the Gabba. We haven't won there since I was in short pants.

Brisbane, premiers one day, shithouse the next...

Todays result really takes the sting out of this match for me...

Two big things out of last night's game -

1) Hope the Umps are 1000% better at the Gabba than they were for the Bulldogs game...
2) We'd better practice in a hilly paddock if we're going to let the ball
bounce at the Gabba next week - it was amazingly inconsistent..

I honestly think that getting our crumber back next week will be a godsend - and the game is very open for the taking.

As the NRIS team said today - if we fade like we did today, we'll get smashed - but otherwise the game is a toss-up for both teams.

My girls' Auskick team didn't complain at all. :)

OUT: Saddo, Armfield, Browne, JR, Hampson?

IN: Bower, Austin, maybe Jacobs or Aisake, also give Jackson or Blackwell a go (are they fit?)

I've been a fan of giving JR some time, but I wouldn't be disappointed if he gave way for Eddie Betts against the Lions.

Bower in for Saddington.

Judd to be rested if needed.

This place gets more bizarre by the day!

Judd is our Captain, our best player and our highest money earner.

Why on earth would you rest him??

If Judd is fit, HE PLAYS ...for goodness sakes

Not having seen them play last night - I'm out on a limb, but happy to suggest that they had a tad more skill on their side than the two "combatants" last night....

I worry that they'll play like Sado because they think they're out of favour....

He's not everyone's cup of tea, but he's a much better player than we've seen the last two weeks.
Blackers would be good as he seems to play well against this mob.... If we're out, I want them out!

Well...I'm not expecting Scotland or Fevola to be out there. Scotland for striking Simpson with a clenched fist to the stomach off the ball in the first quarter and one of Fev's punches on Pratt will not be construed as a jumper punch. 1 game each.
