QFT!

I thought these kind of losses were behind us.

I guess not.

Well and truly under 10 goals.

David Schwartz thinks a situation where Gibson has his arms around Fev is a 50-50 decision for the umpire.

It's not a 50-50 decision.

Its a free kick.

I hope the blues consulted the Umpires before signing fev because if they are going to use a different set of rules with him then i dont think he is worth what he is getting.

Not if you reside in David Schwartz land.

Yeah, and even he gets that blasting the umpire's isn't going to change the situation in your favour.

If even someone like Schwarz "gets it", how ignorant does that make those that don't?

That's a fair comment. But right or wrong, Fev brings it on himself by slagging off the umps too much.

It seems clear that the remainder of Fev's career is going to have many highs and lows. The club has made the decision to keep him so the club now has the responsibility of managing Fev's ego and getting the best out of him for our team.

The reason the umpires get away with being so crap is because so many plebs share the same brain cell as David Schwarz.

And on cue, he embarrasses us again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not his fault he's not tall enough to cover the resting ruckman.

It's not his fault the MC selected him.

Don't have a crack at Saddo. Have a crack at the MC.

Sorry Lurker, agree but I thought that was obvious :?

When we got towled up in the clearances all game gave us very little chance to win

DOnt blame defenceor forward line fault lies with the Midfield which is meant to be the strength of our side just got poleaxed.

Give any team 90% of first use of the ball and you cant expect much more than we got today Dam dissapointing result. Worst performace by our midfiled group in general.

Yes Saddo was average some of our young kids like Browne and Armfield had average games but in the end the speed of the ball coming out of the centre from North smashed us and put to much pressure on our backline and alternatively never gave our forward line fast delivery

No point having a go at David Schwartz. He said that when the decisions are 50/50 fev wont get the benefit of the doubt because he's constantly winging and complaining.
I agree. Those tiggy touch ones where you see Gibsons arms around Fev, but Fev might be holding Gibson, why would the umps pay it to fev when he has been abusing them all day?

Pathetic display by him i think. Sure he perhaps should have got atleast 2 or 3 of those free kicks, but grow up!
You could hear the ump ask fev if he was serious when asking about a free kick after Fisher kicked a goal. The guy seems to be playing soley for Fev, and that to me is not good enough.

that's a very good point....it's been happening for years but unfortunately Fev makes the situation worse for himself

We all understand that arguing with the umpires isn't going to help in a 50-50 decision, but when its not a 50-50 decision its irrelevant.

If they paid obvious free kicks from the start of the game Fev wouldn't be arguing with them. It's frustrating for us at home, so how can you blame Fev for being frustrated as well?

I think the reason the umpire's get away with it, is because the coaches, and players aren't allowed to criticise the umpire's decisions.

I think if we had a system like the NRL, where you can criticise the umpire's decisions (but not the umpire's) the standard of umpiring would improve.

It's the umpire's problem if they are told by a player they missed a free kick and then they decide to hold that against the player who brought it up. It's pretty weak actually. Grounds for demotion in my books.
