If all three are in the side in two years we will not win a premiership. Look at Geelong now, no real aknesses, to win in two years we will have to be better than what they are now. We can't be with those three in the side. One maybe but not three. If they are all in that means Hadley, Walker, Kruezer, Houlihan etc. have gone backwards. Puts to much pressure on the other players and makes it easier for sides to shut us down.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree CJ.
Geelong are a super team, so were Brisbane, but not all premiership teams are as star studded as those two.
Some teams win premierships on belief, talent and team spirit like Sydney did, and Carlton will have at least as much talent as Sydney 2005 in two years from now.
What we need to develop is the belief and spirit, and that's within our reach, and to this end players like Fish, JR and Wiggo are far more important than we may realise.
Have faith.

Hey Cazz, instead of just taking cheap potshots how about putting some insight forward! I would prefer to read some honest discussion than that crap.

Tell that to JR. The crap that is written about him on here is beyond belief. He's had more cheap shots fired at him than a cut out duck in a sideshow.

I have posted my thoughts on here more than enough times. I'll back the MC and Coach to make the right decisions about who plays and who doesn't. The facts remain simple. 40 in 22 doesn't go so some miss out. JR has been doing enough to stay in, in the eyes of the MC so live with it.

It makes me sick that supporters actually love to denigrate players from behind a PC to boost their own egos. That's the real Cheap Shot.

Regards Cazzesman

Spot on. Waitey flogged Richo doing the same thing.

The difference being that Richo was not playing in the ruck. Petrie has been. Very difficult to engineer a match up against a ruckman.

Much better for us when Waite is playing an attacking role not following someone. Let Hampson follow Petrie, he has the engine and will get taken to the ball and win most tap outs!

Does that mean the benchmark is about 12 posessions a week and 0 goals 4 behinds? Please lets not get ahead of ourselves.

And add another 85 pages to the JR thread, does TC have the server space?
We are in good form, have picked a good side and North have a few key outs, so if we can't beat them we aren't as good as we think we are.
I think we will win by the way, by two or three goals.

Just with Betts not playing today, and that Wiggins appeared to be impacted in the contests during the last quarter when Judd scored his goal.

If Betts didn't play today, surely someone will not be playing tomorrow?

No argument about Eddie playing but surely he would have to replace Saddo?

I did see the Wiggler looking a bit toey after getting hit, but he seemed to train well on the Friday according to reports.

It's hard to see someone being given no game this week, at this stage of the season, be it Betts or Saddington. Given Saddington isn't injured he will have to play a game of footy with only three games left in the year.
