Agreed. Jamo and Army can do the jobs though.

Isn't it great that we can't agree on who to leave out of the side, rather than who is worthy of being in it!!!

In: Betts (if fit), Bower
Out: Saddo, Fisher

I would also add Russel as a possible out, but really rate his strong marks and pressure he puts on the opposition that helps out our defenders. Fisher also takes a good mark, but no better than russel at goal and offers no assistance to our defence.

Fish won't be dropped after kicking 2.3. Sure he sprayed them, but 5 shots on goal will get him over the line. It wasn't 0.5! He'd need to keep playing well, though.

Agree 100% with ins, but I'd say another small, Browney, will be the victim of Eddie's return. B/w Army, Grigg, Carrots, Walks and Jamo I'm sure we have enough back options for their dangerous small forwards. We need stronger bodies against this lot and Browney has plenty of time, as much as I like him. This depth thing is really growing on me.

Ok Carlton - the game is being played live. More people than ever will be watching this game. All those who are still not convinced that we are on the way up will be watching. Those who have heard we are playing some good footy will be watching. Those watching the Beijing Games will be watching.

No pressure or anything but PLEASE don't muck this one up. Win it or loose by a small amount (if you must) but please don't get thrashed. It seems that whenever we are on the big stage, things don't go our way.

This time, show everyone how far you have come.

You'd think that would be at least a 6 or 7 goal turn around from last time.

Does on paper at least.

Just checked & Fev has kicked 5 goals the last 2 times he has played Nth (5g2 & 5g4)

Add Judd, Stevens & overall improvement from the kids as we have seen & if we maintain our intensity at the contest, throughout, we should be OK.

Go Blues.

I'll be very unhappy if we lose yet another game due to us getting mauled in the ruck.

Sunday game so they will probably just add Austin, Bower, Betts, Pfieffer to bench and drop Saddington at this stage.

Please don't drop Hammer. They will probably play Hale, Petrie, McIntosh. We would probably be a bit short with just Kreuzer and Cloke, who is a little short for a ruckman anyway. And Carlos is out too. Keep Hammer in as the No.1 ruckman, play kreuz up forward he's been looking very dangerous up there AND KICKS STRAIGHT. Then throw in Cloke, they can all rotate forward, ruck, bench.

Joey would go alright on Thomas or Campbell, but can't think of anyone to drop

Surely Bentick won't play. That would seem like utter madness.

Well with Hampson named in the Ruck and Kreuzer in the forward pocket they will both play. which is excellent news.

Bower will replace Saddo,
Bentick will miss and
Depends if Betts is fully recovered to see if he plays - armfield would probably be the unlucky one if Betts comes up.

Hammer is definitely in.

One would think that the Wiggler is a certainty as is Eddie if he is fit. Armfield seems a logical choice with the dangerous Roos forwards so it comes down to Cloke v Bower v Saddington. Will be interesting to see how the Roos line up.

More Bullants action for Bentick I expect.
