I beleive that Walker has shown what impact is all about. He achieved more in that game alone than Russell has done for the entire season (including the now famous last quarter against Port).

The bloke is a non-entity when he is out there. If running to the wrong position and kicking into the opposition is what the MC sees as progress then he is certainly delivering this in spades.

We have Bower, Hadley, Houlihan, Betts, Setanta, Bannister among others to come in very soon. Do you believe that JR deserves a spot in front of them?

For the sake of the thread though I believe that Blackers is gone. Too much quality in front of him and his lack of size and speed does not help. Please no comparisons with Diesel, there will always only be one of those!

Whenever I have seen Blackwell he has always impressed me more than Bentick. Bentick has had many more chances and I would just like to see Blackers get a fair go.

He definately deserves a game if he is getting best on ground in the 2's ... the only problem is, that he is a midfielder and we have an abundance of them at the moment.

IMO Pfeiffer has more strings to his bow than Blackers Russell Bentick.
