I posted that exact point in the match day thread. And Hadley can't cement his spot either. And they haven't been selecting Bower for some reason.

Just totally amateurish. I find it amusing that people actually ring in to ask for the commentary team's "expert" opinion.

Terry Wallace was on the right track when he worked in the media. He watched all 8 games every round, stating that if you're going to work in the media, you need to be informed. Obviously a theory that hasn't caught on at 3AW.

I think they said that Bentick showed pace faster than the speed of light. So fast they didn't notice one finger laid on him today...good sign for Carlton.

They are a pathetic bunch.

Buckley said that crap?

Even if he said two thirds of half of it I wouldn't be surprised.

His head isn't screwed on right.

Always was a brick head.

You know why he didn't say much as a footballer? He couldn't think through issues; he was exclusively a footballer, not an intellect.

That and Rex the Hunt is the reason why I don't listen to AW .. will choose SEN or MMM or ABC or Crock over those munters ... yes, even the bias of Crock or AA or PR is better than listening to the yabba-dabbering at 693

If i remember correctly, Buckley asked one of the other commentators "How important is the leadership or captain at Carlton?" (he may have asked wallsy)

I thought being the old captain of Collingwood, he probably would have known the answer to that question himself. Did he forget he was once captain???
