Sunday 17th Aug.
2.10pm start
@ The Dome

Hard physical game against North coming up.

I'd like to see Pfeiffer promoted for Russell and Bower or Austin come in for Saddington.

Pfeiffer and Walks aggression hardness and goal scoring ability on the forward flanks appeals to this supporter.

North are a shorter side than Port, so Hampson out for Betts.
Saddington out for Hadley to balance up against North's small forwards.
Hampson and Saddo unlucky, neither of them did anything wrong but it's nice to have the luxury of picking sides to win games rather than picking sides because there's no one else available.
Fisher very lucky to hold his spot.

I want nothing more than to beat this pack of preening wannabes who have been playing above their ability for years.

I barely care about the ins and outs, I just want a WIN.

Makes it a very good side!

Also like to see Houlihan & Anderson in but don't know who else to drop?

Might be a coincidence, but Hammer's last 5 games have resulted in 4 Carlton wins (the only loss being to Geelong). He hadn't played the last 6 weeks and we only won 2 of those.

KEEP HAMMER IN.

In: Betts
Out: Saddington

Also if Houla or Bower are ready to go pick them (esp. Bower). Houla could be very very handy up forward.

Good to see that this Olympics thing won't interfere with Seven's coverage of the game. :-D

The whole Olympic thing is waste of time, except for mens 100 m and womens beach volleyball.

I want us to give north a sound thrashing.

Arocca reckons their brand is good fit for Ethihad sponsorship

Hopefully they have a tough game against the Bulldogs tomorrow.

All this talk about Saddington Out .. I thought he was brought in for the win, which happened. We want to win for the rest of the year! Why drop him now?!

Bentick is also fighting for a spot. Deciding who should be in and out this week wont be easy. Very hard calls to make.

Bring back the big red to float around the forward line

Hammer got eight or nine hitouts last night so let's not get carried away with his efforts in the ruck but he does have to stay in the team IMO.
Eddie will come back so someone has to miss out. Probably Saddo or Armfield.
We will have to convert a bit better if we are going to win. Fisher is a dead set disgrace in front of goal. OK he had 8 marks and a couple of assists but players at this level have to convert better from 20 metres out.
I always think we are going to win against North but it has been a long time. This week could be it. Both teams playing for plenty.
