Whilst the come from behind wins are bloody exciting, you can't build a season on these types of wins. In a sense, these wins are flukes. To me they raise more questions such as 'how did we find ourselves 5 goals down at 3/4 time ?'.

In my opinion, I'm not going to be convinced we have turned the corner until we have more wins like today - hit the front, stay in front and grind the opposition.

That's why todays win - even against a pretty terrible Port side - was a really, really good win for our club.

The biggest and flattest win, I've been getting to use to the come from behind wins than winning all day, how boring

We should have smashed them.

Definitely feeling flat after that win. :-D

Same here. Some of the points we scored should have been goals at AFL level. Should have been an even bigger % boost than it was.

Also appeared at times our boys were quite happy to play at the Port players' level of enthusiasm & commitment, which wasn't much & we too at times appeared lethargic & uninterested, like it was a walk in the park.

It may well have been but if we had have shown the same intensity that we want to have at all times & rarely drop off, we could have almost tripled their score.

Isn't it great that we can have a comprehensive win, and then be critical.
Ah yes, the good times are coming............AGAIN.

I think the boys thought so too - as evidenced by the team song... a little bit flat. :)

Though I'll take a flat theme song and a 60-odd point win ANYDAY!

Probably won't make any diff in the long run in terms of final 8 positions but may do.

Had we kicked properly & say scored 8 more goals instead of points, hence our score would have been 26.16 - 172, 40 points more, giving us a % of 101.34 & above Brisbane.

We would now be 1 place higher on the ladder.

IMO 8 goals is a conservative amount as well. Could quite easily have been 10 goals.

Oh well.

We play Brisbane anyway - and a decent win of 4-5 goals would make a big difference to the percentage anyway - so I wouldn't take todays score into consideration...

The most disappointing 66 point win of all time.

Port were a disgrace and theres no excuse for us not to have won today by 100 points considering the importance on percentage.

AS crazy as it sounds DUC, so do I.

I'm rapt we smashed Port, but we didn't kill them and we missed a hell of a lot of easy shots at goal...and too many ball handling clangers for my liking.

We're on the right track.

I hated that I could only follow half the game a-flower-gain

Good thing ABC702 had relatively frequent updates and I knew how well we were doing, but the pessimist in my thought it would only be short-lived .. I love being wrong!!
