Those @#$%&! umpires were a disgrace....surprise surprise...they seem to save their best for us.

I am sick of the treatment they give the Blues...worse than what Hawks copped against Geelong. Poor Fev.

I am not umpire bashing, I just don't find it amusing to be a target of the umpires bias against us. They should not be seen or heard, but they seem to be the performers out there...just as one of the CH 10 commentators said about No 14 being a good player for the Crows

Have a guess why he said that?

Yeah we had our opportunities in the last and should have kicked 6.3 instead of 3.6.

But an 8 point loss....I have no doubt that if the umpires were fair and equal to both teams they wouldn't have scored 3 of their goals and we should have been given 2..

8 points the difference in the end and the fact we could have won doesn't make things right...the umpires had a huge influence when the margin is so small...consider that..if not go stick it where it fits!!!

We should've won that game by 5 goals, plus the extra 4 easy shots we missed in the last, plus the 2 easy shots Wiggo and Russell missed in the first.

I hate Umpires hate Carlton.

We will turn the tables on the footy world in 2009.

ah I vented...and I don't feel any better till I stop reading that the umpires were not to blame for my misery and our team's loss because they @#$%&! did...or you're BLIND!!

Russell looks great in patches but goes missing, needs to be more consistent.
Fisher is to slow and not mobile enough.
Stevens continually handballing when he is average, kick it!
We need another preseason atleast to add bulk to these kids to match these sides week in week out. Losing bulky guys like Hadley cost us.
Get a damn good ruckman and a CHF and some crumbing fwds.

Someone give Armfield a copy of Team Footy 101.

I know he's probably keener than most to showcase his wares, but a few times he really needed to go with the first option rather than try and do it all himself.

Scotto should have nailed those 2 shots...absolute shit he served up there.

Thornton is not worth a senior spot atm. He's hasd 2 good games this year...he's a receiver.

Browne isn't up to it yet

Russell, Wiggo and Fish looked great in the 1st...really great...even better if they kicked those shots IN FRONT of GOAL....and where were they in Q1 & 2?

REALLY REALLY PISSED OFF with the SELECTION COMMITTEE!!!

Cloke can't ruck or run...Hammer should be playing even Jacobs
I knew the resting ruckmen were going to kill us like they did last time, and like they do to us when we don't have a Setanta height to deter them.

It happens every time. The opposition coaches (as stated every week by commentators) deliberately stretch us by putting a ruckman in the FP. Austin, Thornton and GRIGG FFS are too short...elementary!!!    ....oh I forgot Setanta is injured...then get Hammer back there on the young Moran and Maric....folls!

Get you heads out of the sand!!!

Starting to feel better

Good idea this thread Jars, and thank goodness for the @#$%&! filter, that way I can't upset Mrs Caz

How can that umpire NOT think to bring the ball back after he has tripped over the player with the ball....????????????

And then, cut me off at the knees, in the last quarter that same umpire calls advantage when the freakin' ball WAS ACTUALLY ON THE GROUND and then calls play on???!!!

I don't mind losing matches, god knows we are used to it...

BUT THE IS SUPPOSED TO BE BLOODY A PROFESSIONAL COMPETITION - NOT AMATEUR HOUR!!!!

Today proved that we need a another goal kicker we cannot rely on Fev only, Fisher goes missing when we need him most. Time to trade Fisher lets get Jeff White move Kruezer to CHF until he bulks up does any body else agree ?

@#$%&!!

!!!!!!!

........

grrrrrrrrrrr.......

I'm lost for words.

And I have been at work all day (and still am) - and used my lunch break to watch us lo..... argh!

On another note isn't Scotland a lefty? Because I'm 99.9% sure that the two shots at goal in the last quarter were both off his left... could be mistaken (about being a lefty).

ARGH!

The whole state should be filled in and concreted over like Chernobyl.

I haven't seen so many ferals in the one place.

They look like they drink their own bath water.

@#$%&! YOU CONVICT!

Perhaps we should just take back Kernahan, Bradley, Motley, McKay, Camporeale, Gibbs, Hartlett, Russell, Austin, etc?

Poor form Juzz.

Who were the umpires today?

Were they the same ones that umpired the match against Essendon* in round 1...?

They got two goals due to poor umpiring decisions.

1) thornton's mark - not paid and instead the guy knocks it out of Thornton's hands and goals

2) Moran got a bizarre free kick for being "pushed in the back"

No ONE was even near his back. Worst decision EVER.

Found the umpires names on AFL website.

H. Ryan, S. Meredith, S. McInerney

Does anyone know which of these three umpires paid the decision for Moran's free kick for being pushed in the back even though NO ONE - not even an ant - not even an antelope- not even a human - was even remotely close to his back... he just flung his arms back in blatant cheating attempt for free kick.
