Work has been in progress for a while now to make the MCG our full time home ground. Greg Swann and Sticks are driving this really hard that when the current contract expires with the T.D we will be a one ground tenant.

Wont be long now until something is agreed on.

I'll be very surprised if we get all 11 home games at the G, a majority maybe, but not all. Because...

It was discussed briefly on SEN on KB's show.

I think our original TD dealwas for 10 years so there's still a few years left.

We are working getting a deal done to enable us to have a 7 MCG and 4 TD deal done with all parties satisfied.

I don’t think it really matters TBH….our home ground is Princes Park…..we play the big home games at the G under this deal anyway…I can’t recall any of our home games at the TD selling out, plus I think TD is an outstanding venue – very easy to get to, very easy get around, get a good seat, great viewing stadium.

However, if it’s simply a matter of getting a better financial deal then I can understand the clubs view.

Think it may have more to do with the fact that we have much better success playing at the MCG - I've always felt we play much better there than at the Dome and I seem to recall we have the lower winning percentage of any team at the Dome?

Yes we "used" to play bad at the Dome, but didn't we just beat the 2nd placed side in the comp there?

I don't think this team going forward are going to hold any further fears, if they had any to begin with, at playing future games at the Dome.

I think in time we will be just as good at either the Dome or MCG & hopefully anywhere else too.

You can stay on the old Ponsford side and we'll keep to the nice new MCC members area.

Let's share.

That's fine, we only need it for September.

You can have it from March-August
