Here's the story. I've been in various parts of the African bush for the last 7 weeks and have missed pretty much everything which has happened, CFC wise, apart from the results, since the Collingwood game.

Can posters give me a quick rundown on who's been good, who's been bad, what's our finals chances, what is happening off field, and how far Synbad has got with his sack Ratten campaign he started in May.

I'm going to read this site for the next day or so to catch up but a precis of the last two months from posters would be very helpful!

Heavs

Unfortunately, if you want to see the best of him, you need to wind back to the Swans and Richmond games. That said...........GIBBS!!

Hey Heavs welcome back to the other jungle that is TC. Things of note over the last 7 weeks are as follows:

1. Krooz has kicked 10 goals straight this season.
2. My Smurph turned 21 two Saturday's ago.
3. Fev hasn't signed a contract and you might find a thread or 500 somewhere here that talks about it.
4. Sailor Man is still out to get Ratts, but apart from a handful of posts this week has been quiet and is hanging around blueman and discussing Armageddon in Talking Stuff.
5. Swann called Nick Davis, not a nice person and Roos, who wants to offload Davis at season's end and is hoping his character will get him out of Sydney, was miffed at Swann - asked for an apology - apparently still waiting.
6. Sir Richard had to step down as Il Duce because Graeme Samuel is obsessed with him and wants him to suffer.
7. Sticks replaced Sir Richard for the time being, but all are hoping Dick will be back.
8. Justin Cordy is God at CFC.
9. We haven't played 4 qtrs but we are specialists in the 4th qtr.
10. Melvin keeps getting banned because he keeps telling people to get their hands off something. Not sure what, but there you have it.
11. Barak Obama hasn't been sighted along with ADP or Biff, but we think BO tried coming back a Hellenic Genius, not sure if that is the case as the Mods, led by the Caz, isn't spilling.

I hope this helps Heavs and welcome back.

after the pies game everyone was awash with enthusiasm, and there was plenty of optimisim and talk of finals.

Judd got KO'ed after a nasty head clash against Essendon* 10 minutes into the game, and we played our worst qtr of the season. being around 40 points down early on.
we clawed our way back to hit the front with 10 minutes to play- before being completely over run, leaking weak goals. Setanta had a few poor moments and the knives were out and everyone was doom and gloom.

The Richmond game was pumped right up in the media, to celebrate there centenary. they were the warm favourites and the friday before the game Judd was ruled out.

after a pretty even start we over ran them in the 2nd half to run out 30 point winners. Gibbs and wiggins were our best along with stevens who was sensational and hailed for his courage and leadership.

after the split round everyone was getting pumped and a bit feral after a two week wait, to face the saints in a friday night block buster. after dominating early and missing a host of chances the saints pulled away with cheap goals.

another late rally got us with in 7 points before the saints steadied to runout easy victors.

Fev gave a free as we were going forward with momentum in the 2nd term before, giving away 50 meters staright after, the saints converted and fev was benched whitout even a word from the coach.
after the game he was particularly chummy with a few saints and walked off with his arm around the game break in milne.
the knives were back out aga.in and it was all doom and gloom again.

barry hall got a 3 week lay off for attempting to strike shane waklein and missed against us also, when we played the swans at the dome.

we played very well and controlled the game for the best part of 3 qtrs, leading by 29 points late in the second term.

the swans got two quick goals and eventually reeled us in. Gibbs smashed good all day but good got a few late goals to seal the game, before carlton kicked the last 3 goals of the game to fall just short. Wlaker made his long awaited return picking up 18 touches in 3 qtrs before being wrapped in cotton wool with a slight niggle in his good sholder.

more doom and gloom. lots of people wanting 5 ins and outs. how predictable.

then sundays suprise came against the dogs and we are world beaters again, some even suggested we will not only make the 8, but finish 5th.

also fevs contract talks have been put on hold till the end of the season.

You wouldn't have run into any full-backs then.

Fevola signed up about 5 weeks ago. Gee it's been great that all that hype and speculation died down. Man, can you imagine how out of control it would be if it was still ongoing.

And Carrots finally got his NRS nomination about two weeks back.

Oh, and there's some big news set to be announced on Friday.

Just one more thing, Todd Carney pissed on someone at All Bar Nun last week.

Todd McKenney got caught with his pants down AND with someone elses drugs stashed in his pocket. How unlucky.

Warby isn't allowed to post pictures of young girls in the random picture thread because he isn't an artist.

That's about it.
