We're gonna win the @#$%&! flag!!!!!!

I know, I was surprised too, but it's true...all the way to the GF and the cup's ours.

Pretty simple. Each week is a make or break for the next 3-4 weeks.
Must win the next three for any chance(if other games go our way), if we beat Lions too than we are a very good chance.
Thats a winning streak of 4 games needed, when was the last time we were able to do that?
:? :? :?

It appears from finalsiren.com that it was in 2001 from Rnd 20 to EF, when funnily enough, it was Adelaide we beat by 68 points, before losing the following week to Richmond in SF, by 11 pts.

We beat St Kilda, Collingwood, Geelong & Adelaide. :) :)

I had a go at that Ladder predictor again and had us finishing 9th only by percentage to Adelaide, us winning 3 out of the 5. So if we win on the weekend by a decent margin we could sneak in.

Just noticed on the injury update that both Edwards and McIntosh may be returning the week we play them. McIntosh would be a major difference.

Edwards hasn't played for a while and might need a stint in the seconds.

Edwards hasn't been injured. from reports he was ordinary in the last Ants game, in his favour delivery was ordinary in windy conditions, and he did tend to lead to the flanks.

I don't know about Edwards atm...maybe in a couple of years or after another preseason he may show his true potential.

I am very excited with the season we're having and what the future holds.

Now that ive got that out of the way, i know i will get baged but i have to say it...i would rather finish 12th than 8th. If it means getting pick 5 instead of 9 then im all for it.

Making the finals would be exciting but im worried we are going to finish 9th.

This is our last chance to take advantage of the draft...we cant afford to not make the most of it.

Ummm Bondi,

ElusiveTurtle was talking about Tyson Edwards for Adelaide.

Our Edwards will be fine by the way... won't play this week though!

Molly, I thought ET was referring to the Roos' Edwards - he of the tatt and horse tablet drugs from Wet Toast.

Yeah I was referring to Aaron Edwards, one of the Roos key forwards that has been injured for about 8wks or so due to return in 2-3wks.

We would need 12 wins this year to make it. This is how I see it if we're gonna get in.

Adelaide - WIN

Port Adelaide - WIN

North Melbourne - WIN

[ Brisbane ........
Have to win one of these two games
Hawthorn ] ........

I think our chances are very slim and if we slip up against the Crows this week, then we can basically kiss our season for finals goodbye
