Yeah, they are only 3' x 5' I think.
Wouldn't even be able to see it up there. I need 5' x 8' to 8' x 12'

Well, thanks to all who threw ideas at me, but particularly billc. After many phone calls and a LOT of persuading, we managed to get one made up by the same people who made the Lygon street flags. Couldn't be happier with how it came out, the things huge. These photos were taken around the end of June.

This is the stuff that should be available for consumers rather than the average items made by current AFL licence holders...

That looks fantastic. Will keep an eye on it next time I zoom through Sale.

I can't believe I missed this thread! I recently came back from a 3 month rotation to Sale Hospital from the Alfred, and would've loved to be there when you hoisted it. All the other doctors in the hospital go for Geelong, so it would've been nice to have some fellow bluebagger support around!

Is your place near the hospital Jake? I never got to know the town too well - I pretty much know the hospital, the supermarket, and 'bis' restaurant  .

Wow, that is god-dam impressive!

Can't believe the council haven't issued a 'please explain' though.

I'm surprised you could get anybody to manufacture something with a copyrighted logo but it looks great.

That looks magnificent.
The 17th Premiership flag beside it will be better.

hey Simon, how was your time in sale? Can be pretty dull at times. I'm actually living in Brisbane for uni but Sale's still home and i get home a lot over holidays. We're a fair way from the hospital, just past the big roundabout near the school and servo. The first flying was great, we had a lot of cars beeping as they passed by

Yeah, well it's copyrighted but when you think about it it's pretty much free advertising for the club. It was the AFL that had to give it the all clear, not the club, and they were pretty reluctant but a nice lady eventually gave us permission as long as it was a one off. The company that made was the same one that did the Lygon street ones
