Murphy's goal in the 3rd quarter is up for goal of the week:

http://www.afl.com.au/competitions/markgoal/goal.html

Come people vote, we don't Lucas or Revolting to win

This whole thing is a joke, How did Eddie not win it last week?? Foleys goal  The truly deserving goals never win it anymore.

If Murphs goal doesnt get it, I demand a re-count of votes!

that was the first time i've seen lucas' goal and i tell ya what whoever those commentators were on the radio (i forget which station) who absolutely creamed themselves over this goal, saying over and over that it was quite easily the best goal this year and would win no matter what, get a grip will yas??? all that was was a selfish player who was lucky to be on his left side and all it was was luck that it went through, the degree of difficulty of murphy's one far outweighed that. he had to rove the stoppage first and i know myself that snapping from that pocket for a right footer from that far out is extremely hard to do and requires a great deal of skill. no competition this week, murphy wins it hands down for mine. and i still think betts' goal in round 1 was the best so far thsi year but people have forgotten all about that and if thomas' piss easy dribble goal wins it, this award will lose the tiny credibility it had after last year's farce.

An Essendon* player's on the list. I don't even need to see it to tell you it's gonna win.

murph should win. he worked the ball out of the pack (judd-like) and snaped from on a tight angle.

lucas' goal was exactly like brad johnson's a few years back. nothing new.

MURPH FTW!!!

I have voted for Murphy, I went to vote for Andrew Walker for the players of the round voting and his name is not there, Joe Anderson is on the list instead.

I think Simmo has been really good this year especially in his defensive game. He will always run through the lines to create & attack, but his defensive work this year has been very good imo.

absolute bullshit that lucas got this week's nomination. do the afl really think people vote for the goal they think is the best?
