Walker just a stained muscle apparently. May play against the Dogs.

Irishman Setanta O'hAilpin is expected to miss two to three weeks after straining a calf at training last week. O'hAilpin had been playing in the VFL before the mishap and had run out for the past three matches with the Northern Bullants.

Past 3 matches in the VFL? :?

I don't think the tempo has been too bad to us. We only started doing it because we were consistently conceding red time goals in the first 3 rounds. Since it's introduction we have performed it well on occasions (eg Collingwood) and it's come undone on others. That's fair enough given we've never done it previously.

Players will get better at executing it and get better at choosing the right times to use it the more they practice it in matches, and the more experience they gain.

It is a tactic that is necessary in the modern game.

watching this team has been enjoyable. In all but a few games they have gone out and played their guts out. The fact that I now look at our top six players and think they are now almost equal to any in the league (and certainly will be in two more seasons) shows just how far we've come. Our number one picks are all frightening prospects for opposition sides to confront, and we've seen evidence that some of our other picks (Grigg, Bower, Hammer, Browne) are likely to become highly competent players in their own right.

The chance is now there for the club to make some tough list management decisions, and take the final steps in this draft toward cementing this club as a powerhouse once more.

That post made me tingle. 8)

Good to see as earlier in the season the great man was struggling with that distance for goals. :)

I did my PROS yesterday, time for the CONS:

Mark Austin - Lost us the game by not manning up at crucial stages.

Adam Bentick - Poor disposal lost us the game.

Eddie Betts - No goals in the first half lost us the game.

Andrew Carrazzo - Miskick caused us to lose the game.

Cameron Cloke - His inability to compete in the ruck was the reason we lost the game.

Brendan Fevola - kicked two behinds which lost us the game. He only need to convert one for us to win.

Brad Fisher - His missed goal in the first lost us the game.

Bryce Gibbs - Letting Goodes score two late goals lost us the game.

Shaun Grigg - hardly touched the ball. Half a dozen more touches and we would've won the game.

Adam Hartlett - Not a strong enough target up forward. Lack of presence lost us the game.

Michael Jamison - Had goals kicked on him which lost us the game.

Chris Judd - Only managed two kicks. Three kicks would've won us the game.

Matthew Kreuzer - Beaten in the ruck. His inability to get on top of Jolly and Everitt lost us the game.

Marc Murphy - Kicked 1 goal 1 behind. If he'd kicked two goals we would've won the game.

Jordan Russell - Dropped a mark which if he'd have taken he could've kicked a goal which would've won us the game.

Heath Scotland - Lost us the game.

Kade Simpson - Missed an early goal which lost us the game.

Nick Stevens - Played in the back pocket and lost us the game.

Bret Thornton - Too loose in defence and lost us the game.

Jarrad Waite - Missed a shot at goal in the first which lost us the game.

Andrew Walker - On the bench injured in the last lost us the game.

Simon Wiggins - Fluffed a kick for goal which lost us the game.
