I've only ever left early once: the 93 grand final (easily my worst ever day at the footy)

Left at the 20min mark of the last quarter* and literally RAN away from the G in the hope that I wouldn't have to hear their song.

The wind was blowing the wrong way though: I got to Spring Street and could still hear it.


* although I was sorely tempted to leave the moment Athorn attempted a bounce on the member's wing, only to have the ball bounce right over his head and into Michael Long's arms. We were truly cursed that day.

I left 5 minutes early,if anyone has got a problem with that, that's their business.

Apart from it being one of the very few times when I have over the last 10 + years of some downright misearble, demoralising games, it is none of anyone elses beeswax !
