So bluemark, when is this going to happen then ?

What about some of you saying, it should have been done done week to announce on Friday and because it did not happen the club is pissed off.

What is the delay with Murphy and Waite ? Do you know ?

Fev should be done this week. The others will be sorted once Fev is out of the way. No stress Jarrod and Murph will be staying. Very tight group of players at the moment. When thier ability catches up with thier belief they will be awesome.

Two thoughts and two thoughts only.

For all of the reasons posted on this site for the past how many years?

Fevola to West Coast

For all of the reasons posted on this sight for the past 10 months

Kennedy to Carlton

Straight swap them and move on

we're only going to have the same problem then. one target up forward and that target won't be anywhere near as good as what fev is and will probably be injury prone for the rest of his career.

I can see your logic, however Kennedy would be a Jono Brown type CHF, mark or spoil, get it to the crumbers. Look at Geelong, WB. They have one target and multiple goal kickers. Developing our other goal kickers is not a Fevola created predicament. Its a game plan problem that needs to be worked through by the coaching staff. I would prefer Kennedy to Fevola because I believe he has more up side. Will be a jet IMO.

Ratts tried that on Friday night by putting Fev at HF and trying to make us more mobile and Fev spat it. I reckon this is why Ratts had a crack on radio yesterday. Sounded like a man that had been badly let down.

If that's true would you go crook if Ratts handed him a red jumper for next week?

For those looking to lump My Smurph [and Waitey] into the greedy category because posters are 'picking' on Fev, please don't embarrass yourselves.

Because unless you KNOW what the holdup is you are speculating and brushing these two players with the same brush as you are accusing others of doing with regards to Fev.

what ratts was trying to do with fev on friday was lead up the ground and then lead back to take marks. unfortunately, i don't think it even worked once but the logic behind it was hudghton is really good at defending a forward who leads in a straight line and they were trying to exploit him by making fev double back and take marks running back towards goal.

Well said DUC.

Two things, Fev isn't going anywhere and Kennedy isn't coming back.

Since when, what will really happen, has ever been a consideration on TC.... :

No you dont thats right, because Fev sells papers.......

I would rather have Fev than johnno brown anyday. You know why, because brown has nothing to do with my club whatsoever, and he has done nothing for my club either......

So get off you high horses.

i agree with ya mate, how do we know whats going on with murph and waite, surely they wouldve signed by now??? How do we know if they are actin selfish and askin for a lot and actin like 'babies'. give me a break all this stuff is done by the media and all you guys have been sucked in.

So have they rung their mates live on radio to say how hard done by they are.

Answer no

repeat no

And do you 2 reckon its sheer coincidence that Fev rings triple m when his coach is on a rival station saying if he wants more money he can piss off

Yeah right 8)

Probably the only radio station he knew the name number of and knew he could get on.

I have no problem with him phoning in.Imagine the uproar about Ratts' comments if he didnt.

He said good things when he rang in apart from the hugging other team stuff which was just him being a bit dopey. Probably thought the media would write it up as good sportsmanship.

Like i said earlier. Both the club and player caused this situation. They both should have known that Fevs contract had potential to get out of hand in the media and they should have come up with a plan to keep it all behind closed doors for the sake of the club and fevs image.

SPOT FLOWERING ON.

Do NOT compare Fev with other blokes on this list, who don't pick and choose when they are going to be a committed member of the team.

Fev was happy to clown around when his contract was being discussed on TFS, if you are going to act that way, that's fair enough - but expect it to come back the other way, and FFS DON'T piss and moan on talk back radio that you're hard done by and give us the 'where is all this coming from... poor me' line. Compare that with Brown who shut it down on the spot when he was on.

Same management company.

Brown is a bigger name in the comp and a better player.

The circus revolves around Fev.

Work it out.

Brown is smarter than Fev. That goes without saying. Cant hold that against Fev. People are different.

Brown is good mates with Duck Carey. Imagine Fev had the same friendship with Carey...... would be all over the paper.

Off topic sorry..

Jordon Russell said in a radio interview on Thursday that the Fevola situation hadn't affected the playing group ''AS YET''.
I suspect we have surpassed ''AS YET'', and Fevola's recalcitrance is indeed having a negative affect on the team's performance.
If he is staying, that's fine, sign and let's get on with it.
If he's not staying, that's fine too , piss off and good luck.
This club has been through too much to be bent over by an internal serial pest.
Carlton put up with more than enough from this INDIVIDUAL over the years.
I don't care if it's Brendan Fevola or Jesus Christ, it's a team game and if Fevola can't accept that, then I believe Carlton should, and will, move on and do what will benefit the Carlton Football Club.

Hopefully Fevola doesn't sign until August, or September even. This thread is a classic!
