IMO, Marc Maclure & Robert Walls are spot on - we will not win a flag whilst this selfish player is at our club. I'd accept Ryan O'Keefe plus the Swans 1st round draft pick for Fev in a flash!!!

Not sure whether you are right or wrong, but we can't kick a flowering goal while he is off the field...

Disagree......Fev is great for the club and is a required player IMO.
He gets little help from our other non existant forwards and is always double/triple teamed.
You cant blame Fev everytime we lose and I'm sick of the media focussing on him when we have a downer.
Plenty of other players were ordinary tonight so maybe start a thread on them......

i disagree, i think it'd be best for us if he stayed at the club but i certainly wouldn't spew if we lost him at season's end. i love him as a player and everything. the way he was hugging and having a laugh with the st kilda team while the carlton boys were in their own group was disgraceful.

I agree 100%. The media BS on Fev is shocking. Brian Taylor is a good example when he commentates for MMM. I know he's trying to be entertaining, but he's a flower and everythings "all about Fev".

A good example of the media's obsession with Fev was the Scott Thompson trial this week. If that was Fev it would have been back page news all week.

I was an advocate of trading him last year. We traded JK, so we can't afford to trade him now. Regardless of his future, Carlton's performance (good or bad) should not be 100% always attributable to Fev.

My initial thread title was "IMO, fevola is a cancer", I apologise & take that distasteful thread title back. But I still believe he is very very bad for our club.

I think all those players are great.

Can't say I've ever thought of a Carlton player as "cancer"...but I guess I'm different from all the other internet geeks. :?

Have a look at our KP forwards, there's nothing else there. You won't replace him. How do you propose to replace him? Kicked 64 goals and since since Ratten's become coach chased and tackled as hard as anyone going. Has the odd bit of temperament but no-one's perfect. You won't find 38 perfect footballers. Than your lucky stars he's as good as he is. All willing to accept the good but whinge like sh1t when the odd thing goes wrong. Been a matchwinner a number of times. Yes, he is important to our future.

Weak! Having a sook because we got beat. No perspective.

The good thing is that after tonight's performance the CFC is going to save itself a bit of money as Fev has proven that he is not as good as he thinks he is.

SPOT ON....but if he doesnt sign soon i like the idea off o'keefe and 1st round draft pick, ideally fev and o'keefe cause thats what we are lacking another forward
