I reckon Hutchy misheard somebody say 'Swan offers 4 year deal to Fev', threw an 'S' on it and went to town.

Discussion like this is what keeps forums like TC alive.

My opinion (unlikely that anyone cares... :P )

I haven't said squat about this issue - because no matter what:

* Fev will sign with who he likes, and we can't change that.

* The media circus will play that out, their way, for maximum exposure...

* People will always discuss these issues until their blue in the face, and the media circus will always fuel this with their bullshit "scoops".

What I mentioned above are constants - there are no two ways about it.

I'll discuss this WHEN Fev signs for Carlton...

...after all isn't that what they reported in the news today?! :P

How much do we plan on paying Fev? Just heard Aussie basketballer Andrew Bogut just signed a new 5 year contract in the NBA for $72.5 million. Maybe he could pay Fev with the loose change that falls out of his pocket  .

I've heard that Fev wants a raft of changes in the proposal and he's waiting to see the Footy Departments 6 point plan.

Maybe there should be a meeting with all the stakeholders to work out how to carry this forward.

I think we could look at something being finalised in 12-18....

I must be the member of a very small group of supporters who hasn't batted an eyelid over Fevola's contract saga going by this thread :?

Seriously, why the hell is there so much worry?? He will sign when he signs, if he wants to piss off, piss him off and we'll get something good in return anyway.

Obviously the newspapers want to sell their publications and radio stations want their ratings thus all the innuendo and baseless facts but from where I stand its pretty straight forward.....

I just can't understand the hysteria behind it all, what are people worried about??? That he is going to walk out of the club for free?  Ain't gonna happen so quit worrying and just wait till the club announces it one or another. Meanwhile, we have a finals spot to catch :!:

SEN, the Ox etc.

Why would Fev or velocity confirm the signing when it will either be:

A/ Announced by the club, as it is the club and Fev is 'still' apart of the club. :P And announced at the presidents dinner.....

B/ A combined presso with Murph, Waitey and Fevola all paraded at once to get it over and done with.

Apparently on another site, someone reckons they heard Ox on SEN (again) saying that he had spoken to Fev a few hours ago and he did not sign anything, and is a long way off from doing so ...............

apparently ox said on sen yday that he spoke to fev and fev said the reason he hadnt signed yet was because icke was out of town and that fev would be signing very soon, and now he says today that he spoke to fev and fev said he hasnt signed and he is a long way off.

Who knows what to believe.
