Can't understand what all the fuss is about.

In my opinion, it's highly unlikely he'll leave Carlton. Not only do we have a list that's going places fast, but Fevola owns a restaurant in South Yarra and would have several other commitments that would be a pain in the arse to disentangle.

In the unlikely event it is true, Sydney would obviously engineer a trade involving a third club so that we would receive a return for Fevola that would be slightly less than what we gave West Coast for Judd.

In the end, our club would do well, but as I said at the start, I think it's highly unlikely that he will leave. Cazzesman is on the money.

Its the Judd hysteria all over again - the deal will fall through, he's going to go the Tigers, just give them Pick 1!!

Fev will be at Carlton for the rest of his career, stop freaking out! Listen to the people who are in the know, not some flower like Hutchy. The club is in good hands and Fev loves the club and isn't going to go anywhere.

End thread now.........or not, I guess there is no football this week so we have to have something to entertain the Russell, Houlihan, Wiggins, Fevola, Stevens, Fisher, Carrazzo bashers...

Carry on!

Shouldn't real questions be asked of Hutchinson now that Paul Roos has come out and said ....'the Swans have not spoken to Fev'.

I mean REAL questions of Hutchinson.

Hutchy comes out with a big statement last night that, if you believe Paul Roos, was blatantly false. Does anyone really think Roos is a liar?
Did Hutchy contact the Swans before going to air and ask them to comment?
One call to Paul Roos and he would have had his answer. Would he have still run with the 'so called' story after a phone call to Roos.
So what's possibly in it for Hutchy to run with a story that Roos so quickly says is false. Hutchy has now been completely discredited with one simple press conference in Sydney.

A complete cynical man might suggest there's plenty that is on the nose about this entire little 'beatup of misinformation'.

Scratch my back I think I've got an itch.

Regards Cazzesman

Spot on Doc ! Thats how you deal with managers like those of Fev's.

In Swanny we trust. Sticks is a different matter all together, scares the hell out of me, given his past history.

That's Stick as in Stephen Icke (St.Icke) not Sticks as in Sticks :-)

Sorry for the confusion.

There are posters on here that have 10x the credibility that Hutchy has...

Shit, even I have a better strike rate than Hutchy!

QFT. sif sydney were gonna say 'yeh we talked to him.' wouldnt that be breaking the rule against talking to contracted players.

Fevola did not clearly DENY that he was talking to sydney and did not announce that he is a Carlton man through and through no matter what yesterday. this was the most dissapointing part for me. having said that we all know he aint going anywhere so... meh!

Fev as a 17 year old wasn't really wanted. He was passed up by everyone in the draft at least once. He then plays for Carlton, and the coach back then didn't really want him either. Lucky for him the coach is sacked and he plays on, and does well, and come 2008 many Carlton supporters don't want him around too, the height of their vitriol reached just before the season begins.

It's good, for the first time ever, Fev is actually wanted. GO FEV!

Yeah, as if we would have said at this time last year "we've talked to Judd and it's all sown up. We've just gotta lose these last 6 games".

The fact that Roos felt compelled to dignify the story with a response says volumes to me. And after denying the Swans are intreested, goes onto to talk about what a top player Fev is an of course any club would look at him if he was available.

They should really just remove the rule about clubs not approaching contracted players. Nobody follows it anyway, and a rule that can't be enforced is a bad rule.

Cheers. We are in good hands so am not worried, couldn't say the same about the previous management.

Wayne Brittain.....what a fool he was, let his personal feelings get in the way of the club's best interests. I wonder, could he have been more wrong?? Fev the garbo.
