I'm sure it's someone else's fault. Always is with Wallet.

Injuries were to blame...

Yeah, compare the loss of Thursfield and McGuane to Judd. FFS

Regular as friggin' clockwork.

I'm surprised he didn't sook on about Richo's hammy.

Wouldn't be his shite coaching....

Pros:

- winning after only a 6 day break
- Nick Stevens leadership and 1% ers. More please
- spoiling another traditional rival's party. C'mon Bombers, find an excuse for one
- Gibbs
- Regrouping after a shocker last week
- AB. Not his greatest fan, but he bleeds navy blue and coming back after his poor one last week says alot for the self-belief Ratts has given him. Well done AB
- Carrots. 29 touches and holding Brown was crucial. Great courage to come up after being concussed last week
- Proving Rd 1 loss was an aberration. The bitter taste now a memory
- Wiggo

Cons:

- JR. Zilch today and now on borrowed time with Tex and Juddy coming back. Still goes missing far too often at this level
- Stevo waiting for no Judd to do what many here have been screaming out for
- Carlos has gone backwards in the past few weeks and Banno, Tex, Austin and Bower have his spot in the 22 covered
- Murphy's disposal. So hot and cold. Got plenty of time to correct it, though

PROS:

The will to not lose two games in a row was there

As the game wore on the support for a team mate in trouble got better and better

Nick Stevens pushing himself like a leader

CONS:

Lacking creativity around half forward
Kicking and decision making going into 50
Fev ... needs to be careful with opposition ferals ... I can see him doing his block one day and getting himself in real trouble

Yeah, no doubt Ratts had a word with him later on. Playing up to the crowd is one thing, but it's possible to get carried away. Fev could get himself into serious shit, or worse, get hurt himself. Especially with a pack of degenerates like the RFC cheer squad, who knows what could happen.

Me and Wanger and his new bird went to the match today. we sat among some feril carlton supporters. It was a nightmare. They kept on calling Cheryl a slag and a *smile* and they used similar stuff to talk about richo.

I am going to send a parcel to the Sunlamp Kid on Monday morning. It will have a copy of Todays footy record in it, and my ripped up membership, and the best mars bar you will ever see

I just finished watching the game on tape and I have a couple of questions?

What is it with the bagging of Carlos and JR.

Carlos had a maybe 2 errors and the rest of the time he kept Hughes quiet early and was generally okay. To say he had a shocker is just plain wrong. JR kicked 1 into the man on the mark and so did Scotto. Big flowering deal!

JR looked to be on and off the bench alot but abit hard to tell on the Video.

Get off Setanta's back and just be pleased we have him on our list.

Regards Cazzesman

No big mistakes from JR today, though his positioning was way off on three or four occassions, either getting in the way of other Carlton players in better position or not being in a position to receive.

I think he has copped it a bit in this thread because basically he was in the bottom 2 or 3 players for the team in terms of contributing today. He had many weeks there where he was solidly in the middle of the pack in terms of contribution.

He has had two weeks in a row now where he has been at or near the bottom. Like any player he will begin to come under the microscope.

Is Murph in the same group after two poor (by his standards) games?

No, as tommi would say murph is the murph of murphs.

He also has a lot of goodwill in the bank, numerous best on grounds will do that.

Everyone is equal in a team, but some are more equal than others.

Though Carrazzo is a best and fairest winner with numerous best on grounds.

Solid win today without Judd. Well done Blueys. Puts last week's deplorable effort into perspective.

11.30pm and still no sign of Melvey. Maybe he ran a warm bath and settled in with sharp object.

Never fear Melvey I'm sure we will lose again in your lifetime and you can come back on to tell us all not to get ahead of ourselves.

We come up against the Swans, Doggies and Crows in the next few weeks. I'm sure we'll see him then.

BOG - GIBBS
- was all over the place, was the most ready switched on player on the ground from the start, his evasion etc and passes SPOT ON bar one or 2. was where JUDD would have been.

Pros:

Still drunk.drinking

Carlos was ok, sure he may be a bit too tall and the game a bit fast paced for him today, but so what he missed a spoil or two, so did our other defenders. Carlos has been our spoiling irish god next to Jamo. The times carlos had the ball, he either hit fev or someone who did hit fev. So im saying carlos was more damaging with the ball then say Jamo today. My only con for carlos he wasnt aggressive enough imtimidating these kids and getting the rest of the team fired up ;)

Kroozer reading the game well and starting to try and grab it by the jugular

Gibbsy gibbsy gibbsy

Edwards, Cloke and Betts played well supporting roles for fev.
- Im not sure from memory, Edwards has like 2-3 goals and 2 of them are soccer goals freaky. But he sure has some sticky hands

WIGGLES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dare i say this guy has played really well lately (not for 4 quaters) he gives us like 2-3 goals and something to chear about each time = consistant like SIMPSON

STEVO= welcome back mate thats what you need to do everytime

Fev = nice

Cons:

1st Q nerves

Waites missed mark over that girly girl to top off his great day

CLEARANCES = argh we gots smashed
Pro for clearances = GRIGG in the last 5 mins DOMINATED the clearances

Fisher needs some confidence, seemed to be snapping at the ball but his kicking has improved somewhat.
