Those supporters are either ....

A) Just plain JEALOUS with a Capital J

or

B) Know 'Sweet FA' about the game of AFL and what it takes to play it as a 17 yr old.

or

C) All of the above.

I suspect the answer is 'C' :-)

Pros:

The best thing about our wins has been the contribution of the Kids:
Browne, Gibbs, Murphy, Kruezer, Anderson, Grigg, Armfield, Betts, Jamo, Bentick, Hampson are the future. As they develop and learn to play 4 qtrs we will become dangerous.

Need to add Judd & Walker (maybe Bannister, Hampson, Pfieffer & Austin)next round.

Waite

Cons:

Russell, needs to do more for me. Actually looks better when he gets it but not enough.

Cloke needs to settle down at CHF or FP, not ruck.

We didn't beat much so we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves.

BIG Pro: 10 GOALKICKERS

Big Con: We didn't put the pricks away like this in rd1 like we should've.

PROS:-

WINNING WITHOUT JUDD -
Cool Huh?

Stevens -
WOW! Take this for what it's worth cause i'm not the biggest Stevens fan........but bloody hell, that was the best game i have seen him play for the Navy Blue.

He put his body on the line on at least 5 occasions and i would never have previously expect him to do such things, mainly cause he's never done them before.
Exactly what i was talking about last weekend. If he wants to be a leader, he needs to show some. And he certainly did that today.

Again.....take this for what it is....... a NON-STEVENS FAN giving credit to where credit is due.... brilliant game and easilly best on ground.

GIBBS -
Jesus. How good is this kid. I never have to worry when the ball is in his hands. Just brilliant. Nathan Buckley-esque. Wow. Great game.

FEVOLA -
Did you see him giving it to the Richmond fans? haha. Brilliant.
What was even better was them making up towards the end of the game......... good sportsmanship.

GRIGG -
Good game from an improving player.

KREUZERS CHASE -
This kid is doing stuff that ruckman don't usually do. Top stuff.

WIGGENS -
Has heart this kid. cops alot, but boy he has heart!

CONS:-

The Use of SETANTA. -
Not sure what we're doing with him and i reckon he's confused as to what his role is. Starts at full-back, then sits on the bench for half of the 2nd qtr, then goes forward, then creates himself some space but nobody wants to kick to him, then goes back again. FFS just leave him as Fullback!

Kick-ins -
Bunching up in the centre just pushes us wide which then forces either a turnover or out-of-bounds. Try something new.

Russell -
Looked dis-interested.That kick into the man on the mark was poor.

Fisher -
Was reading the game report on sportal.com and they listed him in the best????? :? WTF? He was awfull. Very dissapointed with his game so far this year.

Decision Making (of lack there of) -
FOR CHRIST SAKE, MAKE A DECISION. Far to often i see us just hold the ball up forcing teams to then get numbers back. Just get rid of the ball.

Interesting to see that for the first 3 qtrs, we tend to go wide, then for the last qtr, we go through the centre. Tactic by ratts?

Again. Special mention of Stevens again. Just brilliant. I'm not asking him to lay 10 tackles every game. But the way he put his body on the line today lifted the entire team and got us over the line. That's what i expect from a leader.

I sort of agree Ryan but at the end of the day that's modern football for a guy who is on the edge of selection. I agree in that he is a backman but he had to move off Hughes. Next game he will still be in....should play on Kosi.

Todays umpires had no influence.

Yeah they did at the start of the last quarter with a contentious decision, but it went our way so I aint complaining :-D

Pros:

- Gibbs - Will be better than Murhpy
- Stevens - Stood up in Judd's abscence and made the difference, that handball to Fisher was all class
- Scotland - Solid performer once again
- Wiggins - Really impressed with his form lately, very efficient and popped up with two match winning goals, he deserves his 100 games now.
- Kreuzer - Some great chasing and work around the centre, will be a star
- Payback for them ruining Silvagni's 300th game all those years back

Cons:

- Ohailpin - Had an absolute shocker!
- Murphy - Good player but too inconsistent with his disposal
- Fev's attitude - Would have been paid 2 or 3 free kicks if not for his constant whinging and remonstrating with opponents. Needs to stop doing this but we know he wont so take the good with the bad.
- Russel - A bad game, this time without the one good quarter

Most of the above, but the highlight was singing 'Happy Birthday' to Richmond in the final quarter.

Pros:
Bryce Gibbs
Nick Stevens
Kruz efforts

Cons:
When Betts kicked the sealer in the last qtr Fev was too busy talking to the Richmond cheer squad rather then running up and congratulating Betts....individual

From his box seat, naturally.

Just had a thought....someone should send a cake (made of cowpats), sitting nicely on a box seat, to Punt Rd.

Pros

Wallace - putting Richo up the ground played into our hands, we could never have held him at FF.

Gibbs decision making and poise.

Young team.

I got in the rooms afterwards!!

Stevens leadership on the field.

Wiggins last quarter.

Kruezer signs.

Carazzo's efforts 1on1 with Brown.

Winning whilst not at our best.

Cons

Cotchin's signs - he will be a player.

Carazzo's turnovers.

Setanta's game was a Barry Crocker.

Nathan Brown's kicking!

Inconsistent footy. It will be us whilst we are developing young players.

Sorry. He should be a pro.

There were a lot of punchlines I could have inserted after that sentence...

PRO'S

I got to go to the footy in Melbourne with my old man for the first tiome in 10 years - and we won!!!!

As everyone else has said, Gibbs, Stevens (agree it's the best game I have seen him play for us), Grigg, Betts, Bentick and the Wiggler.

Loved spoiling the party like they spoilt SOS's 300th.

The banner reading "Carlton congratulates Richmond on 100yrs of Yellow and BLEAK" - Brilliant

Nathan Brown playing the ALL ABOUT ME role.

Waite on Richo - loved his 2nd and 3rd effots.

Great seeing the goals shared

CON'S

O'Hailpin - starting to nail his coffin shut with days like that

Carrots gets a heap of it but his kicks often spin sideways or tumble punt etc which make it hard to mark

Fev talking to the Richmond cheer squad - leave it for after the game.

Not much to complain about tonight - just a glass of red and watch the saints lose a bit more confidence.

Lets wait and see the excuses Terry Wallarse comes up with during the weak. He just bitches on!! Loved the look on his face after the game though.

PROS Another comeback win, this time without Judd
Stevo showed real leadership in second half
Gibbs showed real class
AB showed great courage and determination, good comeback after shocker against Bombers
Grigg continues to impress
Waite very good on Richo
Big K great 2nd 3rd efforts
Carrazzo strong leadership
Wiggo did some good work. Not sure why he can't establish himself, seems quick, good overhead, gets fair distance with kicks etc. maybe slowly establishing himself

CONS
Why can't players kick a 20 metre pass under no pressure to a team mates hands, rather than feet?
Why can't Jarrod W handball 5 metres to team mates hands rather than his feet
Fish was okay but didn't grab his marks and his kicking often lets him down
Setanta wasn't as bad as some are saying. Held his opponent in early, was off in 2nd came back on and was outmarked a couple of times by Hughes (TBird and Jamo also lost marking contests to their opponents)
He set up first goal and would have set up sealer if Fev hadn't missed from 10. But Setanta just doesn't seemed to have developed a feel for the game and seems to be struggling with a more complex game plan, lacks awareness and doesn't act intuitively. Seemed much more confident under Pagan and Mitch. Anyway he had a good last quarter, but is struggling. His best match up is a big power forward, and the Tiges went with a smaller mobile forward line

I'm sure it's someone else's fault. Always is with Wallet.
