whilst very disappointed it is definitely a test of our other players character and willingness to step up to the challenge.

Also provides a great opportunity for pfeiffer (if he comes in) to cement a spot in the team and show the MC his worth.

Interesting game ahead.

No excuses for the blues

we must take this game on now and each and every player pull there flowering finger out and take it up to the tigers

we wanna see a team effort, playing for each other, team cohesion and all contributing the 1% that can take us a long way. Play it as a team, no individuals, no passengers and fight to the death even if we come up short but just make us proud

QFT - we cannot and must not let this demoralise us.

We are not a one man team.

We will rip the Tiggers a new one.

On the day of their birth, we will administer, their last rights!

He is now. He has just been added to the squad. That doesn't mean that he will make the final 22 though. It seems liklely that Joey will get the nod. We will all know in an hour or so.

Sorry to see Chris Judd out, but will be very pleased if Joey is in the 22. Go the NT lad!

I dont think Juddy out is necessarily bad news to gauge our depth-- this will be the really really big test as to where we are as a developing team.

Yeah..... it'll be interesting to see how we go without him.

If we loose.......we can say "Oh well, we didn't have Judd"
If we win.........We can say "HA HA.... We din't have Judd, and we STILL BEAT YOU!"

:-)

Without Judd the weight of expectation is well and truly off Carlton. Even against Richmond, we are now not expected to win. And conversely this is a game that Richmond is expected to win now, will the pressure get to them?

I just think back to that disastrous game against Hawthorn midseason last year, Buddy was a late withdrawal, it was thought we had a better chance, and we ended up going down by 100 points (exactly).

Hopefully Judd out messes with their collective heads.

no excuses for us.

in fact, i like the challenge laid before the club and the players.

lets make a real statement and win without Judd
