Sorry that must have been a different game.

That game was my first game I attended at the G 2004. It was very close in fact carlton were wining it, Basically the ball was trickeling along the boundary line and fev and someone else were running after it. They both over ran it and somehow the ball clipped the back of Fevs heal and went like half a metre over the line. Free Kick and Wells kicks that goal to win the game. Game over no time left. Yeah ive hated these umpires from day one.

Sorry to overule you, but it was definately Houlihan who got pinged for out on the full, it wasn't Fev.

ok thanks for clearing that up for me, as I said, my first game attended like I knew all the players names and numbers back then. but houla did have longish hair that confused me. But I still remember the incident and umpire and thats enough :)

pretty sure he had longish black dyed hair...was really thin back then to..bulked up a lot

Actually i remember a respected post on TBV (i forget who though) actually claimed it was a free kick as he was sitting right on the boundary line where it happened.
