It was good while it lasted. Suppose people like [Patrick Smith] would be happy and satisfied now. This is crap.............

I am feeling really crap about things now. What affect will it have in short term to the team now. I hope nothing.

This is shit !!!!!!!!

We don't need anyone from 'outside' with their own agendas.

We have the best people running the club (thanks to Dick), if anything this should bond the club together.

Well said KK. Totally agree.

Jealousies a curse.

The club should ban the Australian newspaper from ALL press conferences until such time as the case has concluded.

Best result given the circumstances - Club owes Dick a lot -could have been selfish like Elliott and tried to tough it out but thought of club first

Agree 100%.

Operationally, except who attends Presidents' meetings and makes the game day speeches, nothing will change.

Swift action and once again well handled by the club.

So good to see the club consistently make the right calls and make them quickly and decisively.

The club should not even acknowledge the toerag you are referring to.

The club should stand tall, remain proud and go about what we do best, and that's win football matches.

The issue is now done and dusted, let's get on with playing football and get the people talking about our up and coming football team once again!

GO BLUES!!!

Deano raises a good point.

We can name-call and bad-mouth as many people as we want....... Patrick Smith, ACCC, Samuals..........whoever............ but it's ain't gonna do much good.

The best way to get revenge to all the 'Haters' out there in the best possible way....................BY HAVING A DOMINATE CARLTON SIDE WIN ON SUNDAY!

A strong Carlton side is the best 'up your ass' you can give!

Samuals used to be a Carlton Board Member

Where are all the posters who criticised Elliott for being corrupt if Pratt goes to Jail it will make Elliott look like and angel

Skase any one - no he is dead isn't he

Well maybe Conrad Black then - wait he is also in Jail

Looks like we will have to sweet talk Packer or Murdoch - pity they follow League

No, Samuel's a knob.

I, for one, hope this issue is dealt with quickly because there are more pressing needs the ACCC should be going after. Namely oil companies, Coles and Woolworths etc.

what gets me about the whole saga, is AMCOR and Visy both benefited substantially from the cartel.

But because AMCOR has gone states evidence, they seem to have gotten off scot free. we keep getting told about the millions Pratt has made form the cartel. But zip about AMCORs complicity and profit.

Better batten down for [Patrick Smith]. He'll be writing a war and peace epic!

Lets hope Pratty has the best PR people available so we can SWEEP this issue under the carpet, ride out the media storm and concentrate on Sunday
Pratt will still be President, albeit without the title..
Good move with the early press conference... and lucky it happened today as it will be old news by Monday and wont set the tone for next week. Also- there are 8 ganes of footy to take the medias attention as well.
