I was curious to know what the ladder would look like if we calculated it from Round 4 onwards. Interestingly, very little change at the top, a little bit in the bottom 8.

What is interesting though is the points against...since Round 4, Carlton has the 5th best defense in the competition.

---- -For Against % Wins Points

Geel 959 775 124 8 32
Haw 998 808 124 8 32
Dogs 1071 841 127 7.5 30
Syd 909 683 133 6.5 26
Adel 865 752 115 6 24
Bris 1013 914 111 6 24
Carl 864 839 103 6 24
Coll 1049 887 118 5 20

North 858 924 93 4.5 18
Port 883 863 102 4 16

It's a joke that people (opposition supporters) dont think our defence has improved, and think ours is near the shittest in the league.
We see the potential.

Not a joke at all jt...hopefully the opposition coaches see it the same way 8)

As the article in todays paper pointed out, our defence (and more importantly defensive pressure through the midfield) has improved out of sight!

Our defense has one of the trademarks of our last great defense of the late 90's... SOS aside, most of those blokes were 'serviceable' until people (outside the club) woke up and realised that they had strung together 10 years of footy and won a premiership.

Sexton, Hickmott, McKay, Cristou, etc... Maybe Ang was different as he was quickly dubbed a 'cult hero' and was always in the public eye. Probably why some (including me) have been so hard on Eddie Betts. @#$%&! I love Eddie Betts.

You can just feel that something is happening - that there is a rock-solid foundation being laid.... Maybe i'm just delusional because its been so @#$%&! woeful for the last couple of years. I dunno...

GO BLUES.

Nope.

Notice how switched on we were to not let Medhurst play-on?

And also we have Murphy working super super hard lately getting back to help out, aswell as Judd.
