To carry on the way he did after kicking a single goal as the major forward in his team showed that setanta had him. Good scalp
yea, funny to see cloke crack it. he looked as tho he thought he got the better of setanta after that goal. 1.2 for a full forward, enough said

Looked at, not deemed to be anything in it. No high contact.

Just watched the game and a couple of observations:

Hat off to Heath Scotland - busted a gut and ran and supported. Top effort.
Adam Bentick - fabulous game exemplified by his fantastic last quarter mark.
Carlos - wonderful effort by the big fella! Ran, harrassed, spoiled and didn't waste a kick.
Murph, Gibbsy, Eddie - all GUNS!
Armfield is going to be some player
Kruez - great character and will be an out and out champ!
T-Bird - hung in there and was a cool head in the back half (very lucky to get "that" free kick).
Fev - such a barometer for the side. He had a superb second half!
So much to look forward to!
Cons -
Stevo had a shocker - good finish but some very soft efforts.
Hammer - not sure this is an actual "con" but struggled however another game on the big stage, will only get better.

I can't believe Carlos is mentioned in all but two or three cons. He was unbelievable in the first quarter and still fantastic thereafter. He took a huge corky mid-game and looked in all sorts of trouble, but battled through and finished off well. Read the stats on the spoils, fantastic effort Carlos the best of the backman on the day.

Not sure what you were reading but he hasn't been mentioned in one con yet :?

Easily our best defender on Sunday 8)

Not as hardcore as it sounds sadly.

Was dancing around the room with my 6yo daughter after the win and she asked for a shoulder ride. She's a lot bigger than she used to be so I got her up on the couch instead of lifting her vertically from the floor.

Instead of jumping up and over my head she jumped back and across. Luckily the parental "lift the car and save the baby" thing kicked in and I managed to throw her to the safety of the couch. Unluckily that meant that I effectively pushed off and came crashing down with my back diagonally across a very heavy hifi/entertainment unit.

It's not pretty but it's not a broken back either.

I blame Collingwood. If they weren't such a piece of shit club we would have lost and there would have been no need to celebrate.

On the positive side there's no doubting which team my back supports. It's all rather navy blue at the moment.

Oh it was good alright.

I watched it here with two Collingwood mates who were getting cockier my the minute early in the second half.

And thanks to the cocktail of stuff the quacks put me on I'm reliving it over and over and over...

I'll have to remember to be wary of that. I picked up the 5YO at the game on hoiked her into the air and onto my shoulders when Fev kicked his goal- I lifted her so hard and fast she nearly needed a G suit  .

You would think he ran the entire field and took on the whole team, bitched slapped judd, climbed mount olympus and took on zeus himself to get that goal the way he went on..............

He didnt beat carlos at all in that piece of play!

Gees GWS - we'll all have to work on limiting our celebrations.

The past six years have made us supporters a bit rusty.
