Oh gloat yea bluebaggers gloat!

Soak in the thin rays of winter, let the shafts of sunlight touch the cheek, kiss the waking eyes; its a glorious day in melbourne today, the heart is thumping, the papers are spread across the desk and I look forward to seeing each and every worker as they arrival this day, this monday, this talking experts day!

The world does sometimes move into little ice ages (and sometimes big ice ages) but slowly the revolutions return and the sun breaks the ice. It has happened, the world is righted, we are back. We have youth and we have fitness and we have runs on the board. This is no longer a time of 'I hope the boys get better', this is now the time of 'we are better and will get better week by week by week.'

So this monday, this monday I sip the coffee and pour my soul across the newspapers, reading every bluebagging praising word two, three times, staring at each photo of a bluebagger joyous, feeling that little boy who dwelt through the best of times come home to roost in this, the end of the worst of times.

We are @#$%&! back! And each and every stupid, inane, arse plucking, snot wiping tool of every colourless or colour riddled club can go take a long jump oiff a short pier. We are back.

This day, this monday, this day after the reckonoing, when the leather dust has settled, and the MCG grass has recovered, this day is the first day of the rest of this season! So blueboys, oil yourselves up because we are in for a ride.

In the end it doesn't even matter if we make the eight - though from here I think we will - what matters is that we are back, we are a threat and soon, oh every soon, the papers will be spread late September and I'll be basking in the seventeenth victory!

For now though, for now, its coffee, papers and that little boy's delight as he waits for the school playground this work place will become today, to let him strut and gloat and piss in the face of all the scoffers.

This is a glorious day! This monday. This bluebagger day!

I hear you dannyboy.

Have already poured over my papers with cuppa and have delighted in the front page of the Hun.

How sweet does the coffee taste this morning compared to other mornings?

How eager were you getting up this morning so that you could get the papers and pur over all the loving?

Happy days are here again...................
