we were on 40k before the freo game if i'm not mistaken, after that surely we must have had another 1000 something new members jump on and help us break collingwood's record. unless collingwood have broken their own record??

I got a note with my membership card, yesterday saying they have run out of memberships kits due to strong demand and will send me one shortly. We must be close to 43 - 44 K with our recent wins.

That would make my freakin' year. Two wins over the Pies and pipping them in the membership stakes.

Oh man, make it happen - Pratt go and buy 5 thousand memberships and give them to the Starlight Foundation, and the Smith Family (the charity, not real Smith families - how many memberships would we need... whoa!)

We announced 40K on the 21/5.

It's now 13/6.

In that period last year we added about 2000 members.

Seems a little odd if we've only added 391 this year for the same period.

I think it is to keep the Filth guessing and wouldn't be surprised with a late rally just prior to the official cut off :wink:
