Love your stuff normally and maybe I'm drunk with savouring the best win since the '99 prelim but this comment is so far off the mark I don't know where to begin.

Mine was at it's worse in the 1st half.. we butchered so many chances... and after so much effort.... I thought we would've been spent by then.....almost threw the remote at the TV a few times

But that second half and especially the LAST!! How sweet was it!!!!

We absorbed everything that the Pies threw at us in that first half, withstood it, and powered away to bring home the victory.

These bunch of blokes are starting to build a strong will, spirit and character led by the inspirational Juddmeister!

What a rollercoaster two weeks it's been!

AFL take note..... We're Coming Baby!!! :-D

Pros:

1. Fev - but should have kicked 10

2. Judd - Plays like a captain when it matters. When the game was on the line Shaw was too busy worrying about him to be damaging.

3. Murphy ....soooooooo much better than Thomas.

4. Grigg, Kruezer, Armfield - tonnes of courage there. I'm not sure Grigg should even have been on the field. And how about Armfield's attack on the ball in the 3rd quarter.

5. Russell just keeps getting better.

6. Oh yeah, and we're in the eight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons.

1. I'm really getting annoyed by the failure of commentary teams to highlight appalling umpiring. Like when Stevens got slung 3 seconds after he got a handball away. It's like they've been given a directive not point these things out. This is not just about the Blues, it's happened in all three games I've watched this weekend.

2. Pendlebury is a cherry picking skunk ... oh no wait, that's a pro.

3. Hmmm, that's all I've got. Fev's accuracy issues aside we outplayed them for 3 quarters as far as I'm concerned.

For 6 years we have wallowed in shit. We have suffered, we have been mocked, abused and scorned.

The redemption is here. And nobody is safe. GO BLUES!!!!!!!

PROS

1. Murph - great work on AND off the ball

2. Matt Kreuzer - polished, proactive, fast, 8th 9th and 10th efforts

3. Cam Cloke's heart - this guy is not naturally a great footballer, but he got smacked on the scone today and kept running and deliovering. A great field kick. He has an attitude that just makes you respect him.

4. Our backline - it's just solid. I like it. Bower and AUstin to come through the ranks too

5. Waite - I have criticised his "brain" more than anyone, but he did show some signs of mature thought processes today. Go SOV!

Special mentions to Jammo and Fev of course. And gibbs. And army

CONS

1. Hammer - I am so optimistic for this guy but he had a bad day. Dropped some marks he should've taken and taps weren;t great

2. Kickouts - I still think we are average at taking kickouts, sometimes we just bomb it to 45 degrees.

3. Forward line - this is our great challenge, the forward line is hopeless really for the amount of ball we get in there. Fix the forward line and we become a serious threat over the next 4-5 years

4. Grigg getting concussed - I like this boy!

5. Russel (*duck my head*) - I know he's the most controversial character on this website, but he's still so hesitant over when to contest and when not to, and this causes him to make mistakes.

To all the flower who kicked us when we were down - WE'RE COMING ASSHOLES!!!!!!!

They kept the bar open for me so that I could finish watching the game -- huge pro!

The biggest pro for me was our ability to fight back from 4 goals down and work our way through our kicking yips.

Thought Murphy was sensational and Kruz, Betts, Armfield and Gibbs were good later when it counted.

Fev for continuing to fight on and present himself. Eight goals is a lionhearted effort.

Really like the direction of the team.
