Kangas are all but dead and buried against the Shockers (though Freo are only 10 goals up - who knows what might still happen? )

The equation is simple.

Tonight - Sydney to beat the Aints... no hard task.

Tomorrow - Carlton to roll the Pies for the second time this year at the G...

AND WE'RE IN THE 8 BABY!!

After the Saints go down tonight, Carlton will have an extra incentive (like smashing the Filth on their own isn't enough?!) to win tomorrow. Carlton will, against all media predictions at the start of the year, be in the top eight at the halfway mark of the season.

We can then dare to dream, the first time we will be in the eight mid-season since Round 12, 2001 (we were running 3rd that year) - then hopefully after we deal a shellacking to Essendon* we will go into the Split Round with hope, something the club has been short on over the past 5 years...

Let's hope the boys win it tomorrow for the supporters. Let's hope they win it for the coach. Let's hope they do it for themselves, god knows they deserves it - and most importantly of all, let's hope they do the jumper proud...

GO BLUE BOYS!! :-D

This result was inevitable from the moment Voss wrote that article this week saying the 8 was locked in and wouldn't change for the rest of the season.

Thanks Vossy 8)

I like to keep these things supervised. Tomorrow's too important to be left to chance. 8)

He (Mr Swann) said the honour and pride associated with the club's traditional navy blue jumper was priceless.

I really couldn't bring myself to say it but in the middle of the third last night I realised the Swines needed to win .. it was a horrible position to be in, especially when you're there to not support them .. they had enough of that ...
