3 quarters of poor decision making and disposal, 3 quarters of limited impact from too many players. If the MC are serious they would of seen that and will make the right calls this week.

And who should the MC drop?.......that'll do heaps for the team's morale.

Considering our forward line sucked for 3/4 and Fisher gave us nothing again he is one I'd be looking at to drop. Kreuzer's form adds further pressure to Fisher.

Remember Jamo is a walkup start if fit and if he plays then push Waite forward and let Carlos stand up in defence on Rocca. Unless of course you want to drop Cloke, Kreuzer, Hammer or Carlos so Fish gets another game?

I also think Pfeiffer would be a great selection against Collingwood, adds extra grunt and run needed against the Collingwood half backs. Wiggins would be the player to be dropped IMO, a couple of good efforts in the last isn't enough.

I was at Bridie's, sitting towards the back end of the pub closer to the beer garden. We broke out with the Carlton theme song once the siren went.

Last I heard....Jammo was 1-2 weeks away from playing; and you couldn't or shouldn't change a winning side who showed so much heart to get up and win.

Wiggo was hard at it with 13 possies and 6 marks in the 70% he was on the ground.....why are we always trying to get rid of him?

Fish is one of the only genuine marking forwards we have on the list......does a quiet game in a winning side means he should be dropped?

Ratts said on MMM that's he'll play, so there will be one change at least.

The days of easy team sheets where we have so few good players the squad picks itself are behind us. One or more will be stiff again this week.

PROs:
- Great defensive game from our young defence - Armfield and Browne were tight
- Setanta very good
- Thornton brilliant on an opponent who'd have thought he could match
- Murphy, Judd, Gibbs
- Russell's aggression in the second half after fluffing opportunities in the first

CONs:
- Forward line ineffective in the first 3 quarters. I was watching the game with Port fans and they still maintained Carlton were in the game at 3/4 time.
- Defensive mistakes gave Port 3 first half goals, without those the game was even

I was watching that tv in the corner with a mate too. There was only a handful of people in that part, I had a red motorcycle hemet, albeit for a scooter, if that jogs your memory. We were reasonably vocal with a few expletives throughout the match, and became very vocal in the last helping belt out the song before rushing out the door to get to a dinner!

Our Skills were deplorable in the first three quarters. We had the lions share of the play throught the game, but during those three quarters made to many mistakes which resulted in a significant lack of scoreboard pressure.

I was so frustrated at 3/4 time, I knew the boys had enough of the play to be in front and the fact we were so far behind was devastating...

Then the last quarter..... Jordan Russell came out a different man. It was like he was a completely different player. Certainly he did not have any resemblance to the man that had been far from impressive over the last few seasons... Something clicked for him and I liked it.....

Then bang a a couple of goals in a row and the kids were looking determined. The JUDD machine went into overdrive and he lead our players with some outstanding pieces of play... His leadership inspired the likes of the KROOZ who shone up forward. The GIBBSTER who had been one of the better players to 3/4 time shone even more, and DESTROYED Cornes. WAITE made an inspired run from half back and smashed through a goal on the run and outside 50. GRIGG showed hardness and was part of the inspiration. MURPHY was picking up on the inspiration and displayed a new level of talent that perhaps is a glimmer of what is to come.

All these things built up inside me and I could feel an enormours amount of inspired emotion. The siren went, and I was so happy I cried, no I balled my eyes out. I have never had that level of emotion come over me from a game of footy, but I'm more than happy for that type of feeling be a regular occurence.....

GO BLUES!!

Pros
Cracking win. One of the best I've seen in the last few years (although the Collingwood one earlier this year was fine) I was jumping around my living room and my (as yet unborn) son was wriggling so much his mum had to go to another room to sit quietly.

Thanks Blue boys

Cons
Enough already said from other posters

Waitey's goal reminded me of his kick outside 50 at PP when Vin passed away.
