Pros:
Not giving up, little things from JR such as the chase on the Port kickout
Judd's last qtr.
GIBBS BOG just about, great job on Chad and won a lot of it himself, got crunched a fair bit putting his head over the ball.
THornton's job on Motlop
Ratts realising the forward setup wasn't working and got Kreuz in there.
Kreuz dragged the defender from Fev and made them second guess whether they would leave their opponent or have to keep an eye on Kreuzer
Armys dash off hb
AB's tough work in the middle all night.

Cons:
Forward structure early still bad and predictable
SMashed in the hitouts
Fev's brainfade.

Pros: GIBBS!!!!
Murphy, ARmfield, Kreuzer and every carlton playerfor that last quarter. Stuck it up the biased commentry of Fox.
Russell made up for a few bad handballs with good ones and chasing.

Cons:
The first 3 quarters.

*JUDDY, what a champ, fantastic captain.
*Bentick, great form, gonna be good.
*Kreuzer, stood up and helped us smash port.
*Last quarter, 7-0 goals.

CONS:
*Quarter 1,2,3
*I dont know any port fans to rub it into

What he said plus Murph BOG for mine and Hampson showing a lot of potential. Grigg showed that he will be a quality player.

Cons:

Still too Fev conscious.
Still make basic skill errors.
Still make bad play decisions.
Still play reactive instead of proactive.
Coach's box too slow to make moves.

Pros:

Gibbs - best game so far.
Kreuz - geem I wonder why he was considered #1? :P
Murph - better game from him tonight
JR - never gave up. Made mistakes but kept at it and his persistance paid off.
Judd - He's just the best thing to happen at Carlton for ages.
AB - continuing to do the grunt work, and do it well.
The faces of the Port players after the siren - PRICELESS!

Pro Pro: Jordan Russell redeems himself in the last quarter.

What they both said especially Humpers in relation to My Smuprh. :-D

Cons was the umpiring - very ordinary. But we wo, so I don't care. If we lost

Pro:- Ratts outcoaching Choco enough to win the game.
- Last quarter showing us what we need up forward the way Dean Rices quarter in 94 against Richmond before doing his knee did.
- Russell.
- Big Kroooz
- Team realising what they are capable of.
- Young players being interchangable. Building depth.
- Griggs effort in the last
- Stevens fighting back after a terrible start.

Con:- Took Ratts too long to get forward line right. We should have won by more.
- Umpiring almost killed me.

PRO
- Kruezer, Judd, Gibbs, Murph, Bentick always gave 100%
- JRs last qtr
- Great comeback
- Giving Chad Cornes an easy game
- Setantas passion (Did you see him singing the song)

CON
- JRs first 3 qtrs
- No forward set up for 3 qtrs
- We still give too many hospital handballs
- Thornton - Can we trade him? He is always around for the easy kick, but when the ball is there to be won he refuses to push himself to win his contest

interesting that his best moments have been in the last quarters (coll, wc to name 2)...

is it cos he's got a good tank, or a result of being rotated heavily, or cos he gets a rocket at 3/4 time?

Too many pros to mention. And too many cons if we're brutally honest--we clearly still have a long way to go.

The biggest pro was that we won the game from a seemingly unwinnable position. It needed a full team effort and that's exactly what we got.

This win will give our boys a lot of self belief. It may not be evident next week so much, but in years to come the importance of this game will not be lost.

PROS:

- Gibbs has a new bunny.
- Murphy, Judd, Bentick were magnificent in the guts.
- Kreuzer wins his Rising Star nomination.
- Armfield looked good again.
- Carlos played well.
- Hammer had a big influence in the ruck i thought.
- Cloke early can hold his head up high.

BIGGEST PRO:

- My Man arrived in the last quarter!!!

CONS:

- MC match-ups and structures were horrible in the first 3/4
- Our disposal was abysmal in the first 3/4
- The same old names were terrible in the first 3/4
- Our effort and attack at the ball was terrible the first 3/4

BIGGEST CON

- We were terrible the first 3/4

Good call Cranium. T-bird's role has gone a bit unmentioned. He, of all our defenders, deserves some pats on the back when he plays a good game too.

Oh and anyone calling Grigg soft, just take note of who setup the second goal for Kreuzer, beat 3 Port players to the loose ball and copped a massive whack, but got up and kept playing. ARMY AWARD NOMINATION!!
