Loved this bit

Half-back flank, that’s what I want.

Not the stock standard "just happy to be out there" crap.

Wish we could "bottle" his attitude and inject it into every recruit

Didn't sense as much "love" as last weeks interview.

I feel that if I can chase a player who is 10 metres away, that'll save one of my teammates to run down the ground or tackle the next bloke.

Thats what impressed me most. Game 1 and he is focused on team. Haveing David Teague develop these youngsters is a masterstroke. The guy lives and breathes team footy.

See - this is the one that gets me.... being from a rugby background myself - I struggle between that idea (which is fine in rugby) and the fact that to me it seems you can easily overchase and leave your team with a hole to fill.....

Is this where Army is going to get a little unstuck sometimes, and if so - is the tradeoff worth it??

If you are going to err. I would prefer he overchase, unlike some of our players who underchase

Great interview as per usual boys.

I'm sure he appreciates your prize of congratulations. Well deserved, and so say all of us.

I like the part where he says

He's the type we would all prefer to go to battle with. Very unselfish and cool character. Seems to focus on what he can influence.

I'm so glad we got to see him play....against the best in the business....and didn't he just shine.

He's here to stay and he's ours.

Blue skies.
