nope - definitely not sure. The Fev is 'out' has been based on synbad's statement of Fev having torn stomach muscles and most people taking it as gospel given his generally good record on info.

He has been wrong before though - either way we'll find out in under 24 hours

Fev looks awful in black and white.

Maybe he's gonna be a late withdrawal for Edwards? I'm VERY surprised he got dropped. He seems to play well in the ones and show real promise but when he goes back to the 2's I've heard he's not as good (I haven't seen the 2's play)

I would've thought that since we are desparate for another key forward target and Edwards showed some great signs last week, he would have to be in for at least another game.

I guess we'll see

the only thing that even comes close to hearing that fev has a little injury is that he said he had a sore back during the week and that murphy said fev was struggling at training witht he juventus boys though im 99% sure he was talking about him struggling with the soccer side or just taking the piss.

How bad is Bower?

As someone said in another thread, with the way they've developed this year, a backline of Jamison/Waite/Thornton/Bower/O'Hailpin/Browne could turn out to be the premier one in the AFL in the years to come. That is, if they all get on the flowering park at the same time

When I see our players dropping every week, plus our inibility to play 4 qtrs, and think back to Cordy's comments about the lack of fitness on our list, it makes my disdain for Pagan and Smorgan/Malouf grow even more.

I'd have him as a backup. He's the only one really equipped to deal with the monster forwards like Brown and the like.

Also throw Bannister, Walker, Carrots and Hadley into that rotation too.

With a good pre-season behind them (and I've got no doubt Cordy's gonna go to town on them), that's one nice looking back-half.
