Pros - jamo
Betts and Big K show some more senior players about desperation and head over the ball
Russell is improving and looks like a developing AFL players rather than an intimidated kid
Judd - shaded early but his efforts in close showed why he was the only choice as captain
Murph having stellar season
Fev should have kicked 7 without playing that well
Bower not a great game but showing great signs
Setanta - I know I am a fan, but as a third tall backman, he at least made the best player in the AFL work.
Cons
Coaching panel failure to have the players ready to go. Intensity early when the game was there to be won was woeful
Centre square work - comprehensively thrashed
Ackland - forget the effort - he just isn't much of a footballer. Wouldn't mind Jacobs being elevated, need a bit of weight and grunt in the middle
Waite - shown up badly by Bradshaw in the one on ones after Jamo went off
One key forward. Fish was ordinary and would be much more damaging if within 40m of goal where his overhead work would hurt opposition. We need Waite up forward despite his faults, but with jamo out that is unlikely to happen
Gibbs - I hate it when oppo supporters claim he is soft, but he does take his eyes off the ball when he is expecting a hit and did again last night. He is a number one draft choice in a superdraft. I would expect faultless courage to be a given. I am not expecting too much of him, just expecting him to have the intensity and hardness of Joe Anderson, or Eddie Betts, or Big K. He must keep his eyes on the ball and also show more intensity.
How many times in the last seven seasons have we taken solace from a 'comeback' after the game is alll over that stops us being thrashed
Stevo, one of the worst players in a one on one marking contest. Is spoiled easily and can't spoil others
Fev needs to encourage his team mates and not bag them because they don't give it to him every time, no matter where he is or what is around him. Didn't notice Paul Bower giving Fev a spray when he missed easy shots. He needs to be a more than a talented player. He needs to lift players when the going is tough

Bagging Gibbs really shows how stupid some of you are
Dane, why aren't people allowed to point out occasions when Gibbs takes his eyes off the ball when expecting contact. Everyone wants him to be a star but it is becoming a pattern and is holding him back as a player and is disappointing from a #1 draft pick
