Greg Swann brought this subject up on Friday on SEN; and wondered if Smith is ever going to get the message...(excerpt from article in Friday's Australian)

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/st ... 70,00.html

"Which brings us to The Price Fixer, Richard Pratt, who is president of Carlton. Pratt's company Visy was found guilty of manipulating prices in a cartel with competitor Amcor. Longstaff would offer no opinion on the appropriateness of Pratt holding office other than to say it was a matter for independent assessment by the AFL commission.

In his judgment, Federal Court judge Peter Heerey said there could be no doubt Pratt knew "the cartel, to which he gave his approval, and in which he has admitted to be knowingly concerned, was seriously unlawful".

To suggestions that it was inappropriate for Pratt to lead Carlton, commission chairman Mike Fitzpatrick said at first his fellow commissioners had not given it collective thought. Later the chairman said it was a matter for the Carlton board.

Finally, Pratt himself publicly asked the commission if it had a problem with him as Carlton president. The league's response has been chilly. AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou would comment no further than to say - again - it was a matter for the Carlton board. Pratt has not addressed the issue publicly again, no doubt concerned and embarrassed by the AFL's frostbite-like response to his initial question"

Who cares?

I saw that in Friday's Oz.

It's now obvious that The Turd just invents "facts", as demonstrated by the assertions that the AFL's response to Pratt as Carlton President is "frosty".

Every second you waste reading his stuff, or getting angry over his opinions is a second wasted.

Exactly.

That's why I didn't click it. As soon as I saw the thread title, I knew exactly what was in The Turd's article which was the offending part.

And, no, I didn't pay for The Oz on Friday, I read it from the paper of the guy 2 seats away from me on the flight back from Melbourne as he read inside the paper.

So, no money from me to The Turd.

Just ring him up every day on SEN when he is on with "The Prune" and ask him 2 questions.

Fatprick:

Q1: Who is the coach of Essendon*?

Q2: Who is the president of Carlton?

So Fatprick is batting 0 from 2 on those futile crusades.

I only started the thread because Greg Swann led off his segment on SEN's KB Show on Friday morning on the front foot attacking Smith....for the first time.....he has never commented before.....never.....I was rapt.

I only remembered the segment today; and posted the link.

It was great for Greg to attack Smith from the outset and tell him it's time for him to get over it and move on.....and that "We're sick and tired of hearing about it.....there's no story here except we're on the move up the ladder" ...... :-D

He was once asked about it on MMM. The difference was they asked about 'media criticism', and Swann was quick to correct them, and point out that it was simply a one-man crusade that no-one was paying any attention to and was entirely made up of bullshit. Note how the fat turd has yet to address Swann's repeated claims that Vlad calls him personally anytime he writes more of his crap to confirm it as such. "no doubt concerned and embarrassed by the AFL's frostbite-like response" methinks ;)

Other clubs have problems with our great president because they have'nt got him. As for fatprick, don't listen to him on radio, and don't buy his crap newspaper. He really is a flowerwit.

Is there something wrong with him? Seriously, to cling onto somthing so passionately when nobody, and I mean nobody else gives a fat rat's clacker must be the symptom of some syndrome or other.
