No, this isn't about blatant exhibitionism. Not quite.

With your membership, you should have received 7 Carlton 2008 stickers.

How may do you display, and how do you display them?

My car currently has 2 of the new ones, one from last year, one from the year before (or maybe it was 2005...the silver one with the Navy Blue monogram), plus a mega-permanent one which I made from retro-reflective tape, which weathers the elements far better than any stickers, and can be seen for many metres in the dark. I made a stencil of the monogram (with notches) and cut the pieces out and stuck them to the rear window of the car.

And how long until you take them off? I tend to cycle newer ones oneto the car each year, and remove the ones which have become old and tatty. Our monogram is a proud one, and should be seen looking the best possible, not half-faded and weatherbeaten.

i put the big one on the rear window of the car (and i also cycle new ones onto it every year), put one on my locker at school, one on my go-kart, on on my work folder and the rest in my room.

the club really needs to give out more stickers, 7 is no where near enough.

I place mine on the back window of my hatch car.

I always think that if I don't put the new ones on, people won't think I'm not a member and that I have jumped ship when the chips were down.

The silver one from 2005 or 2006 was quite ratty this year, so I replaced that one with 2 from this year's batch.

I still have the navy blue from either 05 or 06.

I don't display them anywhere other than my car.

Putting them on my car, also helps me find my car in parking lots. :-D

I'm so glad you mentioned this, I was going to create another thread about what I'm about to say.

There is this girl at my work - MAD Collingwood supporter. Absolutely mad. Created an 'I love Daisy Thomas' thread on Facebook... you get the picture.

On my locker at work, I have my Carlton sticker - nothing else.

Decided to stick one on hers. The little one with the CFC logo on it.

She puts a big cross on it and sticks it on my locker.

I told her it wasn't me - it could be anyone (there are a lot of Carlton supporters at my work  ) and I'd wished I'd thought of that idea.

Haw haw. SparkyBlue wins.

She apologizes - then she has 4 days off. (4 on 4 off rotating roster).

So what do I do?!

I have 1 on my locker, one on my car, one with a cross on it.

I stick the remaining 5 stickers on my locker while she's away, put contact over a few of them (I went to quite a bit of effort!) so they don't get peeled off as easily.

She knew it was me the second time around - tried to force me to remove them (I refused lol) - then spent the next 20 minutes trying to take them off.

Stuck them all on top of each other, and stuck the stickers on my back.

So, I unpeeled them from each other - you see, there's this guy at my work... MAD Essendon* supporter. ;)

SparkyBlue wins again.

1) Car
2) Diary
3) Work Desk
4, 5, 6 and 7 are being "saved" for something special. I doubt something will ever come up, but i "save" really special things for something "special" i hope will warrant such a sticker in the future. What this something special will be i have no idea. But i hoard precious things. Eventually one day I'll have hundreds of CFC membership stickers, and I won't know how to dispose or make use out of them.

Apart from the obvious car I have a couple of little ones from last year that fit perfectly on my mobile phone and my MP3 player so that's where i put them.

I'm wearing a Carlton jacket to work. The stickers I get are usually given to Lil' Miss Wojee to do with as she pleases.

5 years worth of membership stickers stuck to my beer fridge on the back verandah. Touchwood the old banger never breaks down, or I'll have to start again.
